Kaya and Niall hate each other. He's her annoying next door neighbor who's made her life miserable ever since she was born. Kaya thinks Niall does it out of enjoyment. Or is it something else?
"Sometimes it's love, sometimes it's...

We walk back in silence. Or it's me who's silent, while Niall rambles on by himself about things I can't even remember what about.
I've been too busy thinking about what had happened and about everything involving Niall.
Because of him cuddling me in like that, I can't stop thinking about what he said earlier at his house. About that feeling he gets when he's with a certain girl. I feel like he was talking about me. It had to be.
There's no other girl in his life right now. Is there? No, Kaya, push those thoughts away, I think to myself as I go to bed that night. Remember, that's impossible.
The next day is calmer than the day before.
Again, I didn't see Niall at school. Well, I caught a glimpse of him in computer class, but that was it. Not to mention the blonde girl who sat by him as they proceeded to laugh about something they saw on their computer.
I bet that was Chelsea. But why do I care? It's not like I should be caring. I shouldn't be if I am.
Then, the event that happened the night before rushes back in my mind and I can imagine it all again. I still can't believe that happened.
However, putting all that aside, Harry sat at my lunch table today with Cady, Liam, and I. He's never sat with us, so I was sort of surprised. If that's the correct term for how I felt.
I know that there's something going on between us, I have to be crazy not to. The same goes for him. He knows that we have a thing growing. He even went to my locker in the morning and we had a little chat.
And then in class, it was full of his winks and flirty taps on my shoulder to get my attention. We talked in the hallways when we had a chance.
I'm going to my locker to get my backpack at the end of the day, and minutes later, Harry arrives and starts to talk to me. He leans on my locker and watches me while he wears a cheeky grin on his lips.
When I'm grabbing my backpack from my locker, he snatches my phone from my back pocket and starts to tap on it. I don't know what he's doing on there until he tells me himself.
"I'm gonna text my phone." He says. I can only stifle a giggle. He's getting my number. It's about time.
My locker is closed shut, and I pull my bag over my shoulders as Harry takes out his phone to make sure he got the text. He did, and when he does he looks at me and grins, giving me my phone back.
"There." He says, and I take my phone. "I'll text you later?"
"Okay." I reply, and we fondly stare at each other for a minute. I'm positive my cheeks are blushing.
Cady jumps in right in time and I'm thankful. I'm still not completely comfortable with being alone with Harry.
"Hey, you ready to go?" Cady asks, smiling at Harry and me.
