Another leaf hits the ground and I know that the time is near.
Once again you and I will dress and laugh just to bring the fear.
As the night turns, the streets will host scary ghouls and ghost.
If the knocking comes open the door for chocolate shall be our toast.
After the bitter wind has passed, your cheeks shall burn with red,
by the look in your eyes I can see you're tainted with dread.
The time has passed my love so let us inside.
Bright candles and a movie awaits so under the blankets will hide.
In that moment I want to feel you linger your hands on mine as my warmth starts to consume you,
for this feeling is rich and bold as autumn and with you it's never new.
