You lit the room like a sun and at that very moment I hated you.
Eyes wide they all turned to you, because you were all that was true.
I was tainted with shades of reds and pinks, but you were a radiant blue.
Looking down your head faint you didn't know you had become the view,
And at that moment I wanted you gone like a bitter flue.
As you came I was forgotten old and through,
but here you are on cue and new.
