Now onto my rant...

I GOT IN.

YES. I freaking got IN.

Last year, my parents & I found out about this HUGE national-wide tournament, and it has three sections:

Boys slam dunk competition
Boys three point competition
Girl three point competition

American Family Insurance is the company sponsoring it, and when I say this huge, I mean LITERALLY ONE OF THE BIGGEST TOURNAMENTS TO ENTER IN THE U.S.A.

Only seniors can enter, so many parents & I have been planning it for a year.

Literally hundreds and HUNDREDS of seniors enter for a competition, and there's only one winner.

You win by getting the most votes.

This year, I got to enter.

You send a video of a few minutes with game clips of whatever you're trying to enter into. Obviously I'm entering the three point competition, so I included all my shots that had HUGE range.

What I didn't know is that the people running the competition only chose 16 people to go onto the voting rounds.

SIXTEEN PEOPLE.

Out of HUNDREDS of girls who applied for it.

I'm literally SCREAMING because I'm one of the SIXTEEN people who made it to the voting rounds.

HOLY SHIT.

I can't even. Oh my god.

If you win all of the voting rounds, you get to go to ARIZONA to compete in the championship by participating in the three point contest.

Some of y'all already know what a three point contest is, but if you don't, let me explain.

There's five racks around the arc of the three point line, each rack has five basketballs. You have to shoot all of them in exactly a minute or under, and the last ball you shoot is worth two points instead of just one.

There's a rack in the corner of the arc on both sides, a rack on the wings of both sides, then one in the middle.

I'm literally SHOOK that I got in.

So I'm asking you guys a HUGE favor.

Once I get the details on how to vote for me, y'all wouldn't mind voting for me?

It means so much to me, and I'd love it if you guys passed it around to other people. Even your real-life friends, Wattpad friends, family, etc, it'd literally mean the world to me.

If you look up "American family Insurance thee point contest," you'll see from all the years previous to this year.

It's a big deal, and I'd love it if you guys would vote for me.

I've been waiting a year to enter, and I didn't even think I'd make it past to one of the sixteen spots out of hundreds of others.

Literally girls enter from everywhere across the U.S.A, and I'm still in shock that I made it.

I'd really appreciate it if you guys helped spread the word, I can't even express it into words how happy I'd be.

The voting starts on Valentines Day, and it counts by every devise that votes.
