i sat with the new guy at my house . i really like him , we've been talking a bit getting to know each other . Nehal should be coming home soon as well . "so , Joshua ." i say grinning . "your middle name is william ? that's frikin adorable ." i say smiling "i don't know . but thanks" he says blushing a bit . we were watching netflix . a few minutes later the door opens . "hey , Em . who's this guy ?" she says a bit happily . "oh , hey this is Joshua . or Josh if you want . " "hi , i'm Josh . Josh Dun ." he says smiling i look over at him . he's so beautiful . i get up for a drink . "Josh you want anything ?" i say looking in the fridge . "no i'm fine , thanks emma ." he says looking for another movie on netflix . "Emma .. can i talk to you ?" "yeah , one sec . Josh , i'll be right back ." "mkay"

Nehal takes my arm lightly and pulls me upstairs into my bedroom . "um .. what about the other guy ? you know , Jarrell?" "oh , yeah . i told him i wanted to meet up and talk to him . this isn't because i met Josh , but i think i just don't have feelings for Jarrell anymore . i like him as a friend though , but i don't know . i think i just want to be with Josh ." Nehal looks at me surprised . "but he was like .. your high school crush . he was special to you !" she says making me flashback to high school .
*flashback starts*
"quit staring and go talk to him !" nehal says pushing me towards Jarrell . "no , he doesn't like me back . it's not worth it . i'll just embarrass myself anyways ." i said looking down at the tile , still walking . "you don't know that for sure yet , Emma . he might actually like you and you just don't know it ." "i don't know Nehal . it's okay , though . he'll find someone better than me . "
*flashback ends*
"Emma ? you doing okay ? " yeah .. just th-thinking .." i say starting to stutter . "you sure you're doing okay ?" she says with a look of concern . "y-yeah" i say looking down as a tear comes out . she puts her fingers under my chin and pulls my head up . "keep ur head high , or your crown will fall princess . don't let anyone or anything keep you down , okay ?" another tear . "o-okay . thanks Nehal ." two more . "yup , just remember to meet Jarrell up and let him down easy ." "yeah , thanks ." we walk downstairs , tears start drying up a bit . i try to hold it back successfully , and i did . i didn't want Josh to see i was crying a bit . i wiped my eyes , grabbed my drink and sat next to Josh . Nehal then sat next to me and we watched netflix . me and Josh fell asleep , i could hear him snoring a bit . it's beautiful . i heard Nehal's footprints come by again and put a blanket on us . i was out by then .
