It's been awhile since Jack left.
I'm starting to get a little worried.
Should i go out there to look for him?
I finally decided to go outside.
As I walked out the door, the warm breeze left me, which left me exposed to the cold air.
I looked both ways but i couldn't see him even though the blizzard was dying down.
"Jack?" I asked quietly, as I ran out and around the cottage. "Jack?!" i yelled out a little louder.
No reply.
I ran out to the lake which was frozen over.
I took a deep breath, and gently put a foot on the ice.
Nothing happened.
My other foot.
Nothing.
I ran out to the middle of the lake, and looked out.
There he was. On the other side of the little pond like lake thing.
as I drew closer, my worst fears became real.
It wasn't Jack on the other side, but only a tree.
I looke down at my feet to see the ice cracking apart.
On top of my lungs i yelled, "JACK!"
Then the ice completely broke.
