Chapter 18 - "Oh Boy..."

Ever since hearing about Atremis, you couldn't help but feel envy. And in front of you, sat the god-like figure. Undyne left after getting a call from Alphys telling Undyne to come to the lab for some unknown reason. But she told everyone she's sorry she can't come after all.

"How long is she staying here?" You mumble to yourself.

"Well," She answers quickly, "I can here to check on the guys. After all, they are a version of my buddies." She takes the 2 in an embrace.

"NYEH? A VERSION? NO ONE CAN REPLACE THE GREAT PAPYRUS!"

"uh, you have to remember," He leans in closer and whispers, "he doesn't know what that is."

But you thought he was telling her that he loves her.

'Stop getting jealous. (Y/N), you have nothing to worry about.' You remember he's not your problem anyhow. 'Yeah, he's not even mine to worry about. Duh, me.'

"uh, bucko, could you try to blink?" You've just been staying into space while you were thinking. "uh, (Y/N)?"

AngelHeart pokes your nose. "Boop." And you jump and fall back. But you catch yourself.

"Ouch. My head hurts now." You rub the back of your head. 'Just a minor headache...' You remind yourself it's probably not a big deal.

~ Alphys lab ~

"Frisk! Sit down! Relax! Stay awhile. I have so much to ask you? What happened? How can you speak actual sentences? Do you remember what happened with you and--"

"ALPHYS! YOU'LL HAVE HER OVERWHELMED! CALM DOWN!" Undyne adds. "ALSO, THAT'S PROBABLY THE LONGEST YOU HAVE GONE WITHOUT STUTTERING." She wiggles her eyebrows.

"Y-yeah, w-well..." She doesn't continue that thought.

"HMM. GUESS I RUINED IT."

"Anyways," Frisk adds, "I don't remember much of what happened. I don't know if I should talk about what I remember. (Despite it being a serious topic, I want to make her have a speech problem. But she learns to control it and speak from an event.)

"W-well, whenever you f-feel comfortable to talk about i-it, please l-let us kn-know." Frisk smiles graciously.

"YEAH, WE'RE THE CLOSEST YOU GET TO UNDERSTANDING." Undyne cackles. "BUT SERIOUSLY, YOU HAVE TO TELL US SOMETIME."

"I will." Frisk says. "I will."
