A Zombies Bite (Z Nation 10k Fan Fic)

Chapter 10

Sarah's pov

It's been almost a week and still no sign of Addy or Mack,I was honestly worried that we weren't going to see them again,we all were.We were somewhere in a house because the princess A.K.A Murphy was complaining that his feet hurt from all the walking we had to do.

I was currently in the tree house the house had that was in the front yard,using my bow and arrow to shoot Z's.Kills time.(Tree house on side)

I was kind of worried about the tree house collapsing with me in it.It was pretty old,considering it's been three years without prober care.And now that I think of it I haven't talked to 20k about the kiss,the kiss that happened in the morgue.We barely even talked since it happened and it only made me curious.

I shot a Z that was walking with another one and then I heard footsteps behind.Me swiftly turned and seen 10k's boots and mumbled a 'Hi' before shooting the one that was walking next to it.

"Hey"he said and took out his slingshot and put it in front of me

"What"I asked as I lowered my bow and held the arrow in my other hand

"Remember,about you teaching me to shoot that and i teach you to shoot this"he said referring to his slingshot

"Oh ya,I forgot about that.Do you wanna learn first or"I trailed off

"Teach me"he said and I nodded and gave him my bow and arrow

"Show me what you would do"I said and he nodded,he held the bow but held it wrong and when he shot it was no where near the Z

"Ok well this is gonna need a lot of practice"I said and he blushed

"So this bow is a recurve bow,so it shoots further but has a curve when shot"I said

"This part always goes right here"I said as I pointed to the nock and the nocking point.He simply nodded

"And since it has a curve,you can't directly aim it,it has to at a slight curve.Watch"I said and grabbed the bow and arrow and aimed for a Z.I spotted a Z walking around a tree.I sucked in a small breath angled it a little to the right and let go of the arrows.It flew threw the air and hit the Z straight in the middle of the forehead,we watched as it collapsed to the ground.

"Like that.Here try again"I said and handed him the items and he seemed to stumble with the things and I laughed

He held the exact position I held as he aimed for a zombie that was in front of the tree house.He sucked in a breath and let go but it didn't hit the Z in the head,it hit his stomach.He let out a groan and I sighed

"It's fine,I didn't actually kill one yet until the second month in the apocalypse"I said and he laughed

"Like this"I said and held his hands to direct him to the right place.I noticed how he stared at me as I aimed at the Z,and I looked up to stare at him too.

"And once you have your target.Let go"I said in a whisper,not looking if the Z had moved but let go of the arrow.My attention was completely on 10k that I fatally heard the Z groan and fall to the floor

"Would it be wrong to say I've been thinking about kissing you since the morgue"I said in a whisper as he dropped the bow on the table beside us.

"No because I've been thinking the same thing"He said and as our lips barely touched we heard clapping.We both looked over the edge and seen Doc clapping,he then began wolf whistling and Murphy with an annoyed look

"Damn kid I didn't know you had it in you to go after Sarah"He said and I laughed as 10k blushed

"Murphy you owe 5 oxy"Doc said and Murphy mumbled some words
