"We need to split up."--- Shikamaru stated.
"Looks like we've got no other choice."--- Temari said while she sighed.
"Temari, Tenten, Neji and I will stay to fight while you guys get to Konoha as fast as possible."--- Shikamaru said while pointing at Sakura and Hinata.
"Ok then."-- Sai replied while the others just nodded in agreement.
As Naruto, Sasuke, Sai, Ino, Sakura and Hinata left the battlefield, the others started the fight.
" Don't let them escape. " -- one of the Hetsu ninja stated.
The Hetsu ninja were about to go after the squad that just left (Naruto, Sasuke...ect.) but Temari blew them back with her fan.
"Your fights with us not them."--- Temari stated with a smirk.
One of the ninja told the others to attack and the fight had begun.
~•Meanwhile.....with the others... •~
" Sai! Can't these things go any faster!?"--- Ino asked panicking.
"Uhh I can try to infuse more cha--"--- Sai was saying but Ino cut him off. " Well then do whatever you have to do to get us to the village ASAP!"--- she stated while healing Sakura's injuries.
They eventually made it to Konoha. When they got there the medical-nin took Sakura and Hinata with them to the hospital. They all patiently waited for the results on Hinata's and Sakura's health status.
Ino then noticed that Naruto and Sasuke had worrisome expressions plastered on their faces...she then understood that they really did care about her friends and went to comfort them.
"Hey..."--- Ino started saying as she patted both, Naruto and Sasuke's back---"They're going to be fine. Both of them are very strong."--- she stated with a faint smile.
"Yeah, I know Hinata's gonna be ok."--- Naruto said while facing Ino with a smile.
But Sasuke wasn't really convinced...he just walked away without saying a word.
"Ohh, don't mind Sasuke. He's like that. He just needs time."--- Naruto stated.
As Ino was about to reply to Naruto's statement, one of the nurses that was treating Hinata came into the waiting room.
"Umm..Sir.U-Uzumaki?"--- she asked as she looked around.
"Right here."---Naruto replied while raising his hand.
"Ohh umm Sir, Lady Hinata would like to see you."--- she stated as she handed Naruto the room number in which Hinata was at.
"Thanks."-- Naruto told the nurse as he ran off to see Hinata.
~• On the battlefield •~
They all defeated the enemies successfully but they ran out of chakra.
"I guess we'll have to walk...*sigh" what a drag..."--- Shikamaru stated as he sighed in disappointment.
"Well at least the village isn't that far."--- Tenten said as she walked past her comrades.
"Hmm."-- Temari said as she went to walk along side Tenten, while the guys were left behind.
They were almost at the village, only an hour left for them to finally reach Konoha but it seemed that luck wasn't on their side.
More ninja from the Hetsu Clan were sent to ambush them.
"You've got to be kidding me!"-- Tenten stated growling.
