Shot Glasses and Drunk Dudes

As he stepped foot in the house, he gently put me down. I pulled down my romper and patted it down.

I fix my hair and the fizz by simply pushing my hair to my back.

I sighed finally getting used to not feeling lightheaded.

Once I felt okay, I tightly balled up my fist and punched Kyle in his arm with all my strength.

"Was that really needed?" Kyle gently rubbed the spot while laughing a little, crushing my ego.

"Yes." I said simply.

"It was stupid of you to even think you were going to hurt me." He laughed. I rolled my eyes.

"I'm going to leave." I said, annoyed that he was pushing my buttons. He shrugged with a careless look on his face.

"You sure of that?" He said with a smirk.

"Yes." I said, rolling my eyes.

"Well, have fun on the walk back." He smirked and held up the car keys as I realized I was going to have to stay unless I was going to get a ride from a stranger. I didn't bring my wallet with me, so I couldn't even get an Uber.

"Fine. I'll stay." I said with a shrug.

"That's the spirit!!" He said with a growing smile.

We walked around the house.

By the front door, there were stairs with people making out or passed out at the top and bottom of them.

We walked pass the dining room area, seeing people screaming,"MAKE OUT ! MAKE OUT!" at a guy and a girl who where playing a game of Spin the Bottle with a big group of friends on the carpet.

The living room was the heart of the party though. Tons of teenagers jumping up and waving their hands and hollering as the music being blazed through the room, their heads probably buzzing from the alcohol and noise.

Next to the living room was the kitchen, which had a prominent alcohol stench. The kitchen floor was cluttered with red solo cups; it was hard to not step on one.

The kitchen's island table had a few alcohol bottles that were  showcased on top of the kitchen's island table.

Kyle walked over to the island table and he poured a cup for me

I looked at it with a questionable look, and Kyle laughed.

"Uh, I'm not sure I want to drink this. " I said peering into the shot glass as he handed to me.

"Just take a sip." Kyle said as he raised his shot glass in cheers.

Maybe Kyle's charm is what prompted me to raise my cup, or maybe it was my spunky side coming out, but I looked at it one last time before I downed a bunch of it.

It tasted ok besides the bitter and nauseating aftertaste.

"Hey, hey, hey if it isn't Kyle, our newest addition to Trinity High's Tigers!" Trinity High's star jock, who basically participated in every sport our school has to offer, Joey Bassett yelled, walking up to us.
