The Choices I Have To Make

Chapter 15

Fionna's P.O.V

I stood there with my blue eyes wide open. Marshall Lee was kissing me. I thought about pushing him off of me, but I didn't. I just froze for a second, then I kissed him back. He grabbed my hips and pulled me closer to him. This kiss felt good, great actually. It was smooth and light, but it felt powerful. I didn't know how to feel, I never thought about Marshall Lee being more than a friend until Cake said something about it. He pulled away from the kiss. I looked him straight in the eyes. His eyes were wide.

I heard him whispered,"Wow."

I smiled and he smiled back, showing his sharp vampire teeth.

"I can't believe that just happened," he said with a huge smile across his face.

I laugh a little and said," Yeah."

I couldn't believe it. I kissed him, Marshall Lee. Not in a million years would I have thought about kissing Marshall Lee in the last five minutes and liking it. I felt the passion in that kiss. I put my arms around Marshall Lee and hugged him. I don't know why I hugged him, but I thought it was a good thing to do in the moment. I felt him jump up a little at first, but then he realized that I was just hugging him.

"This is amazing," I heard him whisper.

Then I thought about Cake, she is probably waiting for us. She might think that were kissing, even though we did kiss I didn't want her to know. We shouldn't be taking to long.

"I think we should go to the Candy Kingdom. They might think something is up?" I said.

"Yeah, here let's go," he said.

I grabbed my backpack and headed out the door. We walked outside and he held out his hand. I looked at him and was confused.

"Grab my hand. I don't bite," he said with smile.

I grabbed his hand and we flew up in the air. I remember seeing him hover the ground before, but I never thought he could control it. Wow, this view is amazing.

"This is awesome. I can't believe this, it must be could to go up in the sky," I said.

He nodded and smiled. He grabbed me and brought me closer to him. I felt my cheeks turning red, I tried to hid it but I think Marshall Lee saw because he winked at me.

By the time we got to the Candy Kingdom there were banana guards everywhere, not like they would hurt anyone. We came back down from the sky and saw everyone at the castle. They must be waiting to see what's wrong with Prince Gumball. I looked up and saw the enormous Candy guards.

"How are we going to get past all these people without having you be noticed?" I asked Marshall Lee.

"Well, since it's cloudy and the sun isn't out I can sneak past these people by going around their houses and to the back entrance of the castle. Then I can meet you there," he said.

"Yeah we could do that or we could disguise you. That way the security cameras won't see you," I said.

"Well how will you disguise me?" He asked.

I grabbed my green backpack from behind me and opened it up. Cake and I have a lot of junk in here so I think there are clothes in here to disguise Marshall Lee. I dig threw my backpack and grab a long sweater that's all black, a really stretchy hat that's black all over except at the bottom where it's piercing blue, and a pair of dark blue sun glasses.I hand them to Marshall Lee and he laughs a little.

"I know the colors are a bit weird, but that's all we got," I told him.

He laughs a little more and says," I know. I just haven't seen a beanie in awhile."

He puts the clothes on him and he fits them good.

"Now I look like a hipster," he said laughing.

"A what?" I asked.

"Never mind," he said.

I look at him top to bottom. He looks nothing like a vampire. Just a normal guy.

"You're going to be a human, ok. Try to hide those holes in your neck, humans don't have those," I said.

We walk into the Kingdom and walk straight to the castle where Prince Gumball is. As we get to the doors Candy people stop me.

"Fionna thank glob you're here. What happened to the Prince?" asked a lollipop girl.

"I don't know. That's why I am going to see him," I told her.

She looked at Marshall Lee and asked,"Who's this?"

"Um. He's a friend of mine that help me get here," I said.

"Hi," she said to Marshall Lee.

He looked at the girl and said," Hi, I am sorry, but we need to go help out the Prince right away. Then we can talk ok."

He smiled while closing his mouth to hide his sharp teeth. She nodded in agreement and skipped off into the Candy town. Marshall Lee open the doors and we walked in.

"Nice call," I said.

"Oh that's nothing. You know I could have hid in your backpack, but I thought this was more exciting," he said.

I smiled and push him a little.

"Prince Gumball should be over in that room, that's the hospital room," I said.

We walked down the hallway towards the hospital. I saw cake sitting there with a worried look on her face.

She looked up and said," Fionna!"

She grabbed me and I fall back a little, but enough to catch myself from falling.

"What's wrong?" I asked her.

"Prince Gumball is going to be ok, but he remembers what happened. He told the nurse what Marshall Lee looked like and everything. You need to be cool about it because he wants to ask you questions," she said.

"I think I need to hide in your backpack now. I don't want to be seen," he said.

I nod my head and opened up my backpack. He shrunk and climbed into my green backpack. All of a sudden the door opens and the nurse comes out. When she sees me she smiles.

"Hi Fionna, Prince Gumball said he wanted to see you, now," she said.

I tensed up and said," Ok."
