Sarah's pov After a couple of days Murphy was still paranoid after being kidnapped.So obviously the princess made us pull over to "get rid of all his paranoia".I just think he's being lazy and the car isn't comfortable enough for him.And well Cassandra needs it to,her leg is getting more and more infected as we travel.
"How you holding up"I asked Cassandra as she held her leg and had a look of pain
"I've been better"She said and Doc came back with a wet towel
"Warren"I said and signaled her out of the room.I waited till we were both out of war shot
"Hate to be the Debbie downer but She's not gonna make it,well at least not to California"I whispered
"Ya,ya I know"She said in deep thought
"And we can't just let her turn while she's with us,that could be dangerous.We could lose you,or Doc,especially 10k"I said,they were both pretty close,10k basically carried her the whole time she's been like that.I helped along the way too
"What about you"She said wondering why I hadn't said my name
"Because no offense but unlike you guys I'd be able to put her down without feeling a certain way of remorse"I said and she raised her eyebrow
"I mean not like that,she's my friend but once she comes for brains,that is no longer my friend,no longer our friend"I said and she sighed
"We just can't leave her here"She said and I nodded
"I know,how bout me and 10k go scout up ahead and look for food,ammo,and medical supplies for her"I said and she thought again
"Ya well that is a good ideas but remember what happened last time when a couple went ahead"She said referring to Mack and Addy.I ignored the fact that she called me and 10k a couple
"We'll be fine,we have each other.And we'll come straight back if we think anything seems fishy"I said and she gave in
"Ok,fine.Let 10k know and then we'll load you guys up"She said and we walked back into the room
"Hey Doc where's 10k"I asked
"Probably resting in one of the rooms"He said and I nodded and went upstairs looking through the room.
I had finally found him laying on his back with a pistol in his hand and his sniper in the other,I smiled at how cute he looked.I jumped on the bed startling him and made him shoot a bullet,grazing my cheek
