We came out from the Big House together except Leo. He immediately ran off to his cabin to gather everyone to help him finish his ship. Leo told us that the ship was his project a long time ago and now it was half ready. Well I guessed Leo was right, it was his show time.

Others started to get busy with their own business. I didn't really know what to do though. Piper tapped my shoulder.

"What are you thinking?"

"Um, it's just everything that feels surreal to me."

"You will get the hang of it." She said. "You are lucky. You have a stage to prove your worth."

I wrinkled my forehead. "What do you mean? Stage?"

Piper gave me a motion to follow her. She didn't give me any word while we were walking till we stopped right in front of Aphrodite's Cabin. The cabin was empty since everybody had their outdoor activity. She asked me to sit with her on a chair in front of the cabin.

"Do you know what people think of Aphrodite?" she started. Piper took a deep breath and exhaled. "Aphrodite is very pretty, more beautiful than any goddess, she is even the symbol of woman's beauty. But do you how dumb she is? She makes stupid decision, she uses her heart all the time instead of her brain, and takes human for granted."

"W-what?" I startled. Wasn't Aphrodite her mom?

"She likes to play with human's fate. She chooses her hero and makes a bet with another god about who would be his husband or who would die for her. Of course to make it more interesting she would create lust or other obstacles." She sighed. "I guess being a god is a pretty boring job till you play such a game."

"She really did that?"

Piper nodded. "We are good looking but we have no brain. That stereotype revolves around Aphrodite's offspring."

"That is a serious insult!" I told her. "I know you are more than that."

"I wish everyone was like you, Phoebe." Piper smiled a bit. "I mean, I just need a spot or a stage you know? To prove my value."

"People will know someday." I held her hand. "I may just have joined these whole things. But I'm pretty sure you don't need a stage or a spot to prove your value."

Piper giggled. "Please let it be tomorrow! I wished Jason would notice too."

"Aahh, you have a crush."

"Yeah, one sided crush." I raised my eyebrows. "Of course you don't know. Jason is dating Reyna."

"That's too bad." I pursued my lips. "He is totally missing out."

Piper chuckled and hugged me.

A conch horn blew signaling for lunch. "Come one, let's grab something to eat," I pulled Piper till she stood up with her own feet. We ran to the dining pavilion. I almost sat down with the Hermes Cabin before Will patted my shoulder. This was the first time I ate lunch with Apollo Cabin, I hope I could get along with them.

I wished for a roasted salmon with green beans puree, and a glass of water. I didn't forget to give some to my dad. After that, I sat down and started to dig in. I sat down beside Will, he helped me a lot to get along with my siblings. We were really communicating and had fun.

...

In the afternoon, Chiron gave us a brief explanation about the situation. He told us to work and practice harder than before. We had to prepare for the worse. We were working together and gathered our energy to help Hephaestus Cabin make the ship.
