47. Requested by @AmadingMadi! {Reader is trans from female to male} It just so happens that I reached this request on Pidge's Birthday 🎉🎉 I'm going to try and do one more for Pidgey! 💕 HAPPY BIRTHDAY SMOL BEAN 💖💖

I am not trans myself, so if something is wrong, please tell me. I want to include all gender identities!

"Ahh! He's bleeding out!" Pidge yelled. "What do we do? The healing pods aren't working!" Lance screamed and ran around the room in panic.

Shiro looked around frantically, "We'll have to operate on him ourselves."

"The wound is around his collarbone. It might be through it." Pidge said, taking off your tunic.

The paladins all stared down at you. "What..."

"Are those bandages?" Lance asked.

Pidge smacked the back of his head, "No, you idiot! Talk about this later, he's. Still. BLEEDING."

Time Skip to After the Operation

"So what was that if it wasn't bandages?" Lance asked.

Pidge sighed, "Lance... You're an idiot. Those were breast bindings."

"Which is...?"

Pidge glared at him, "Are you fricking serious, Lance?! Breast bindings! They bind breasts!"

"How do you know this?!" Lance stared at his friend.

Pidge rolled her eyes, "I made you think I was a boy, so you have to, uh, y'know... so our lovely friend Y/n is trans. Okay? Did you get that through your thick skull yet?"

"Oh. Okay."

~You in Your Room~

You rubbed your forehead, "What happened?" You turned to the bedside table, which had a bouquet and a note on it. You picked up the folded piece of paper.

Hey Y/n! If you're just getting up, which you should be, unless you were procrastinating about reading this, there is something we must warn you about. The healing pods were down, so we had to operate on you ourselves. If anything hurts, don't move and just yell for us, okay? Laters ~ Pidge

You looked down at your left shoulder to see that you were only wearing a loose robe and your bindings. Quiznak. They know.

You tied the robe because seeing it made you really self-conscious, and you made your way through the halls, toward the food room. Fortunately, no one was in there and you quickly got yourself some food goo. You were about to sit down when Hunk walked into the room.

"Hey, Y/n. How are you feeling?"

You quickly walked to the door, "Uh, yeah, I am, uh, perfectly fine! Well, I got things to do. Bye!" You started speed walking back to your room.

"Y/n?"

Oh god. Not another one. "Uh, hey Shiro." You kept walking.

"Do you need any help? You injured your shoulder area, so I don't think you should be carrying things."

"I have two arms, Dad." You picked up the pace. "I'm gonna go rest. See you later!" You quickly ran into your room and shut the door.

Three hours later

"Should we go check on him?" Lance asked.

Hunk nodded, "Yeah, just make sure he's okay." The group stood up to go to your room, but Pidge stepped in front of the doorway.

"Move Pidge!" Keith yelled.

Pidge tapped her foot, "Uh, how bout no?" The group stared at her in stunned silence. "I will go talk to him alone. I know how he is probably feeling right now and you guys would probably just make it worse. Stay here." She turned and started walking to your room.

~Your POV Again~

Your breakfast plate was on the bedside table and you had forgotten to get a spoon, so you ended up licking the plate. You lay down on your bed, staring up at the ceiling. I guess they really don't care. It's been several hours an- There was a knock on your door. "Y/n? It's Pidge. Can I- Can I come in?"

You sighed and stood up. Opening the door, you said, "Sure." You walked back to your bed and flopped onto it. "So what brings you here?"

"I just wanted to see how you were doing. So, I guess you're feeling a little... uh, freaked out?" Pidge said.

You turned toward her, "Yeah. You all just found out that I'm trans and you think I'm only a little freaked out?"

"Look, I'm just trying to help. When I went to the Garrison, I had to pretend to be a boy. After a while, I decided to tell the team that I was actually a girl," Pidge spoke softly.

"...And how'd that go for you?"

Pidge laughed, "Oh, they all knew. Except Lance. So don't worry, they'll still love having you as a team member."

You hugged her, "Thanks Pidge. But of course Lance wouldn't know... He's an idiot!" The two of you laughed.

"Hey!" Lance yelled from the door.

You and Pidge turned toward him. "I told you to not follow me!"

"We... waited a few minutes," Hunk tried to defend himself.

"We should all do the embrace of multiple persons!" Coran said.

Shiro raised his eyebrows at him, "You mean... a group hug?"

"Yes that!"

Team Voltron hugged and nearly crushed you. "Careful for my injury!" you yelled. This team is the best.
