Percy's POV

Annabeth looked beautiful in this light. The glow of the setting sun framed her face, a face full of wonder as she dragged me round the Parthenon. Blurting out random facts and stuff like that. I let her do that because I wanted it to be perfect, when I proposed to her. I had been secretly calling Frank, Jason, Leo and even Piper for advice, and together we had conjured a plan fit for a queen. Fit for Annabeth. After hours of wondering around we sit on bench, the glowing Parthenon in the distance behind us. We stare at streets of Athens, coming alive with lights, and chatter. My arm is slung over her shoulder our hands entwined. I turn to Annabeth and slowly rise from the seat pulling her with me, she looks at me,

"Percy," she says.

"Um Ahh Annabeth I just wanted to say," I start, "Annabeth, when we first met is was partially unconscious and you told me I drooled when I sleep." She laughs. I get down on one knee,

"Since then we fought monsters, sailed dangerous sea's, I held the sky for you, I found you in the dark, you took a knife for me, we started dating, then is was taken and you never stopped looking for me. But then I had to let you go to follow the mark of Athena and when we met again you were pulled into Tartarus, and I went with you because I loved you." Annabeth is tearing up.

"Oh Percy," she whispers.

"We survived and we healed but in there when we didn't have hope I had you and that was all I needed. We fought giants, we lost Leo, and we celebrated his death in honour. We survived together I survived because of you. And everything I did for you I would do again a thousand times over in a heartbeat. So Annabeth in a place of our parents rivalry, will you do the honours of marrying me?"

"Percy, yes of course," she says. I take the ring I had custom made, a band of silver with two stones wrapped in an infinity sign. One sea-green, one grey. I slip it on her finger and Annabeth kisses me. I hug her tight and we stand like this for what felt like hours, together.
