The door to Namjoon's room slams open with a loud bang. Taehyung stumbles in with an excited grin and opens his mouth to speak up.
Without even looking up from his laptop, Namjoon cuts him off immediately. "No, Tae." He simply says.
Tae shoots him an offended look. "Hyung! I didn't even say anything yet!!" He shouts.
Namjoon rolls his eyes pointedly. "Whatever you were going to ask is still going to be a no" he responds dryly.
Tae huffs childishly. "Well that's too bad because I was gonna ask if you thought I was a shitty rapper" he says smartly, crossing his arms.
Namjoon snorts through his nose. "Yeah right" he says with a light laugh and shoots him a disbelieving look.
Tae pouts petulantly. "...fine. That's not what I was gonna ask. But still! Hear me out before you make up your mind!" He argues.
Joon knew he was going to regret it the moment he asked but decided to humour him anyways. "Okay Tae. Go ahead, ask me." He says good heartedly as he shut his laptop closed and leaned back on his chair.
Tae clears his throat dramatically.
"I think it's time..." he begins and Namjoon raises his brow expectantly.
"...time that you let me be a part of Cypher Pt. V"
Namjoon sweatdrops. "Taehyungie... you mean Cypher pt. 5 right?..." he says slowly. Tae's eyes widen in alarm.
"Oops. Autocorrect" he chuckles awkwardly and continues "...I didn't mean V... but I mean we can totally name it that if you want.." he says too casually.
Namjoon stares at his idiotic friend. "...we're having a verbal conversation..." he replies, as if speaking to a child. He then continues. "...and I told you already. NO!" He states with finality and Tae groans audibly.
"Hyuuuuung come onnnnnn I'VE ALREADY MADE MY RAPPER NAME, V-RAP! It even sounds like a new genre. Come on!!!" He whines and Namjoon shakes his head, looking up to the sky and cursing the almighty one.
The rest of the day was filled with Joon trying to shake off a persistent Tae, who continued to cling onto his legs desperately for his part in the new Cypher.
