0.26 tension building (emma pov)

Time has passed in which I got my degree in psychology, all the boys were at graduation of course. I moved on from Jake, still loved him and will forever hold him near and dear to my heart but I was no longer in love with him. 

Calum and Ashton were forcing me to go to this party they were throwing , I haven't been to one in ages, at least that's how it felt like for me.  

The minute I opened the door to welcome the boys into my apartment, I saw Luke. I can't deny that tension had been building between us , it had been 4 years since I ever  thought of Luke in a way that I'm feeling right now. Calum calls in 'sexual tension' that he says was so going to happen between us whether we knew about it or not.  Yet  I was determined to ignore it until I could. 

"You look amazing ," 

fuck he was so handsome 

"I look the same as always Luke, I am just wearing makeup for once." 

I wasn't wrong , after Jake I only stayed focused on getting my degree and basically avoided going out at all cost. 

"No there's a smile on you , that I haven't seen in ages , I missed it Emma. " 

I paused , he sure knows how to get me all flustered with just words. 

"Thank?? Where are the boys at? " 

Luke didn't even get a chance to answer before the boys came in barging in all at once. 

"Emma!!!!! " 

I was attacked with hugs 

"Boys get off Im going to die." 

Michael quickly pushed the boys off, saying they had to keep my alive at all cost. 

I ended up sitting behind next to Ashton and Calum , although Luke would constantly look back through the rear view mirror and just wink... who the tf . 

The night consisted of many shots, pictures, and dancing. At this point currently Calum and Ashton were dancing by the pool of their friends house. Michael was off flirting with some random girl meanwhile Luke and I sat here just talking stuff out. 

Everything seemed to slow between us once again, we were older, I had forgiven him, I found a new love and lost him, and within all that time till now Luke has been waiting for me. As if the songs that came on weren't throwbacks enough Sexy Can I came on , and  I looked up at the blue eyes. 

Without even processing anything, I grabbed Luke's hand and pulled him onto the dance floor. I couldn't imagine what people were thinking , although they were probably to involved ,thinking about how they are going to get laid tonight, immediately I turn back to my back is facing Luke, he pulls me tighter in and I begin to roll my hips already knowing what we were doing. The feelings felt to great to stop slowly I could feel his hands work there way up my leg, I could not handle it enough , I turn around and just smash our lips together, it was those kisses that oyu haven't had in a while but it feels so great. 

"OH FUCK YEA IT IS BACK ON!! ASHTON YOU OWE ME $60" 

Luke and I flip them off, but in the moment all i knew was that god damn his lips felt extremely great on mine.
