"So this one's finished up, right?" Woojin asked, pointing at the screen of different instrument lines overlapping. Taeyang dragged a document in front of him, looking over the lyrics.

"Yeah, I'll submit it today." Taeyang said quietly, pushing it away and laying his head on the table. His head hit the edge of the keyboard, making the computer beep in confusion.

"C'mon, we're almost done." Woojin said, pulling Taeyang's head up as the he let it fall against the older's arm. He closed the song they had just finished, opening up another. Taeyang opened one eye to see what was happening, groaning when he saw the work needed to be done.

"Hey, hey, it looks almost done." Woojin said, pointing at the screen and pushing the younger off of him. "Can I play it?"

Taeyang sat up, pulling out a piece of paper from underneath a inch high pile. "Sure, here's part of the lyrics."

Woojin spent a while reading over the lyrics, raising his eyebrows at the other.

"You wrote this?"

Taeyang made a little nod, tiredly leaning against Woojin again. The older made a little pout and held Taeyang's head against his shoulder.

"Who hurt you like this?"

Taeyang glanced up, looking over the paper in Woojin's hands. "Oh," Taeyang began, laughing a bit as he picked up the paper. "Alex was in charge of most of the storyline of this song." He gave the paper back to Woojin, sitting up to play the instrumental.

"I mostly made instrumental to fit it."

Taeyang started the instrumental, pointing out at which point in the lyrics they were at. Woojin made a little smile, poking Taeyang in the shoulder.

"You should sing it." Woojin recommended, meaning it more as a request. Taeyang made a sigh, restarting the song. He took a breath to begin, pausing the song and quickly warning, "This is supposed to be sung by Alex, by the way."

"Alex is gonna sing?" Woojin asked suddenly, Taeyang nodding in response. "He's going to sing a in the other song too, but the main reason he's singing in this song is because it's his own story."

Woojin made a little nod, unpausing the song and making Taeyang make nervous smile.

"As if knowing that I don't have you by my side anymore, this path seems to hug me. I was afraid things would feel too unfamiliar, but now it's alright. Don't worry about me." Taeyang sang softly, his voice trying to go deeper than it usually did.

He very quickly cleared his throat before beginning the next part in a more comfortable range. Woojin's ears perked up as the sad Eb song became G#, admiring the skilled change of key.

"The breakup you left behind is bitter but it's as precious as love. I'm able to smile because you were also the pain." Taeyang sang, coughing a bit after the part was over. Woojin pulled the lyric paper closer to himself, singing the next stanza of lines.

"Even seeing you leave is a memory to me-" Woojin began, fitting the words in the correct spots but the notes being misharmonized with how it was supposed to sound. Taeyang quickly sang with the older so that he would pick up the rest. For the split seconds when the two voices harmonized, Woojin smiled a bit before following Taeyang's lead.

"Scars that had to form will some day heal."

"Even though you left from all the places, you were here before - because you were also the empty spaces."

Taeyang nudged the paper towards Woojin, prompting him to say the next line.

"It's still beautiful."

Taeyang laughed at the older's dramatic movements as he held one hand against his chest, reaching an arm out towards the younger.

As the instrumental kept going, the two let out soft and light laughs of amusement.
