Dean's phone rings and suddenly is a hundred times more interesting than your scuffle. "Where the hell are you, Cass?"

You watch on, trying to comfort the baby. She was such a good baby, after all she's been through she hasn't even wailed yet. And absolutely beautiful baby, it was strange to see her in such a dark and disastrous place. You thought about Dean as a dad, he would be so good at it. Even though he constantly pushes off that life as nothing, you can tell he wants that. And it got you thinking about if you even could have a child?

When you were young you wanted kids, but as you grew older it became less of an appealing idea. Your life was just too crazy for a child, but seeing Dean's twinkle in his eyes when he saw her made you wonder. And not just with Dean, not just the baby you held in your arms, but in general could you have a child of your own? With your abilities, you suppose it wouldn't be wise to pass them on. But would you even be fertile to have a child with your angelic qualities, or would your body be unable to let a child grow? It raised questions that you didn't have answers to, and couldn't find any at the moment so you decided to focus back in on Dean.

"You don't sound okay." Dean continued his phone call, and you can't help yourself but listen in to distract yourself.

"Dean, I am fine. Besides, what I have, you can't help me." Cass responded, Dean was right he really did not sound okay.

"What do you mean, what you have?" Dean asked, thinking it could be this disease.

"Just please tell Sam -- Rowena escaped with the Book of the Damned and the codex." Cass said and your heart dropped. What was happening to Cass?

"Okay, forget Rowena. Where are you?" Dean rushed in.

"Now, you tell me -- the Mark-" Cass asked.

"Oh, really? You're worried about me after everything that I've --" Dean rolled his eyes.

"Dean, is it gone?" Cass asked again.

"Yes. I'm good. I mean, I'm not great." Dean turned back to you guys, putting Cass on speaker phone.

"Makes two of us. This is good news." Cass struggled to remain positive.

"Hey, Cass!" You said, holding the baby close.

"(Y/N)." Cass recognized your voice.

"Hey." Sam announced himself, too.

"Sam." Cass was repeating your names as if to remind himself to be focused.

"Okay, your turn. Talk to us about the darkness." Dean said.

"Why would I talk about the darkness?" Cass was worried, and not the topic he was calling for. The baby in your arms cooed, and you rocked her.

"Because it's free." Sam said, the guilt in his voice full.

"No, that can't be." Cass said simple.

"When we removed the Mark, it opened some kind of lock that let her out. Dean saw her." I contributed.

"The darkness is a woman?" Cass was confused, making you sense he probably had less info that you.

"Well, that's what we're asking you. We were hoping you could tell us what kind of defcon screwed we are." Dean urged, but answer came from him, "Cass?"

"Sam, Dean, (Y/N)... Goodbye. It may be some time before we see one another again." Cass hung up.

"Wait, Cass. Cass!" Dean panicked and slammed his phone shut. You turned the baby away from the boys' noise so she wouldn't scream. Then you saw Jenna in the corner, you had completely forgotten she was there. Her blue eyes were annoyed to all hell.
