As soon as a young man is on the throne, people around him want him to get married and produce an heir to the throne. I mean, he just got on that throne, he needs to adjust without adding other responsibilities on him like a wife and a kid.

So Elias was being hounded by his newly appointed, more talented ministers to get married.

But this was not a big issues, the big issues were the collaboration project of Kirk and Matthews. And I was so waiting for it, I was terribly missing my father and I wanted to see him. I wanted that vermin of a human to let me travel back in time and meet my father.

I carefully observed Elias who was lying next to me peacefully sleeping. My fingers traced his nose softly and then his jawline. He was over working himself since he became a King. Putting almost everything in place, he even introduced or should I say re-introduced his mother shocking everyone.

"You are torturing me, Alisha." He mumbled and my hand shot back in surprise.

"Didn't mean to disturb you."

" I meant with all the feather light touches and not kissing me." He said looking back at me.

"God, I love you a lot, Prince," I said and kissed him complying with his wishes.

And he kissed me back pulling me impossibly closer as his hands traced the curve of my waist leaving a trail of hot fire.

His lips found his way to my collarbone and down below until the end of my neckline. I gasped in surprise and pleasure as his fingers made contact with the bare skin of my back. I arched back to allow his lips work its magic even more.

A sudden knock on the door made him groan in agitation. My heart, on the other hand, was beating fast enough to beat a cheetah.

We created a distance as I tied my bodyguard mask back still trying to control raging hormones.

"Your blush is too prominent bodyguard." And the Prince winked at me.

As he opened the door Agnes walked in... or as the attire define it, was it Mel?

"Oh thank God you two are safe." She gushed and pulled Elias for a hug who looked petrified at this sudden gesture.

And she looked at me with a soft smile which soon transformed into a smirk.

"What were you two doing?" Her tone implied more than enough.

"Why are you here?" I tried to change the topic and succeeded as worry crossed her face.

"Matthew is here, I tricked him to come here." And she avoided eye contact.

You don't trick a powerful God of magic unless you are his wife.

"You seduced him, didn't you Mel?" Now she turned red and changed the topic.

"He did something scandalous." She said and this was not surprising anymore.

"How bad?" I ask my mind prepared for the worst.

"He attacking people in form of Elias," I swear the ground shifted underneath me because for a second I lost balance.

"Alisha." Both Mel and Elias shouted.

Tears welled in my eyes and looked up at Elias,"What do we do?"

"Only he is powerful to assume another human's form even if for just few times." Mel explained.

He wanted to be a King, I wanted him to be one. But such tarnishing of reputation can never be repaired. People will hate him now.
