QUEEN HERMIONE’s PoV
“A-arcanus, the other kingdom is planning a war against us and they’re going to attack any moment now. What are we going to do with our Princess Zeira? W-what if--" I nervously asked while walking back and forth. Tinignan ko siya habang komportableng nakaupo sa trono niya.
“We will hide her from our enemies, my Queen.” Arcanus said, confidently as he looks at me. My forehead creased on what he had said.
“But where? I can't think of any place here in the other world that's safe f--” he cuts me off in mid-sentence.
“Then we have no other choice but to send her in the mortal world.”
I paused for awhile.
"W-what? M-mortal world?" nanginginig kong ulit sa dalawang huling salitang sinabi niya.
In the mortal world? Magiging maayos kaya ang anak ko doon? Kapag iniwan ko siya, mabait kaya ang makakapulot sa kanya?
What if, no? How will I protect her from the mortals?
My world seems to crash on that thought. I can’t think properly. Paano na ang anak ko?
“Everything will be fine, my Queen.” pagpapalakas ni Arcanus sa loob ko. Seryoso siya. Desidido talaga siya sa sinasabi niya.
“They can still follow her in the mortal world. They already know what our princess looks like. How are we going to hide her?”
“We need to change her back on being a baby and let the mortals raise her.” he said.
I-ibabalik sa pagiging sanggol?
Only few sorcerers and sorceress can do that spell. And being the Queen, I am one of those 'few'. Pero masyadong risky ang spell na iyon.
Once na ginamit ko iyon sa anak ko, pati ang mga ala-ala niya, mawawala. At kasama na kami don.
"I d-don't think I can do that, Arcanus." nauutal na sabi ko habang umiiling.
