Only a few weeks and two days passed by, everyone began to find themselves connecting to others, such as Aiden with Abby. Caira and Corbin joined a group of officers, including the Avengers, unbeknownst to the others, Caira was chatting with the one known as Gohan.
A month and a half later...
Corbin's Point of View.
Airbending was difficult. Constantly moving my arms back and forth, then going through the spinning gates without getting hit. I was at it right now with certain people watching. Just like before, I got hit and flew back, landing on my bottom. "OOF!"
"Patience Corbin!" I heard Tenzin shout.
"Don't hurt yourself Corbin!" I heard Leon call out, chuckling a bit.
I took a deep breath before running through the gates again. I began to feel lighter and I found myself slimming through, not even touching the gates. "Good! Light on your feet!" The little girl, Ikki encouraged. Then I found myself at the end and with my hands I blew more wind at the gates.
The sounds of hands clapping came, Tenzin approached me with a proud smile. "You've done it."
"I...How?..." I wondered, shocked to see that I finally figured out.
"When resistance was met, you switched at a moment's notice. Remember, airbending is about spiral movement." Tenzin's wise words came to me.
I gave him a nod and bowed. "Thank you, Master Tenzin."
"We are done for the day." He started. "Come, Zuko waits with Caira."
"I hope she didn't burn down a building." Ethan jokingly said, only for his smile to drop when I glared at him obviously telling him to watch it because that was my sister he was talking about.
"Ethan Winters." Chris scolded, a glare at his eyes.
"Sorry." The pale blonde guy spoke, his hands were up in defense.
We climbed onto one of the bison, the large animal grumbled when I placed my hand on him, rubbing his big head. "Nice to see you as well." Soon, we took off.
It took about a good while before we arrived at the Fire Nation. From there, we were led to the training area, loud sizzling of flames in the air.
There I found my sister tossing and kicking her flames in the air. Zuko dodged each and every one of them. "You seem to have positive energy today."
"Let's just say...For awhile I've had someone special." She announced.
That's when I stepped forward with my hands on my hips. "Who?" I demanded.
Her eyes widened upon seeing me. "C-Corbin." She gave me a nervous smile and chuckled a bit. "I-I uh..."
"Alright." I stepped forward, my instincts kicking in. "Who are you seeing?"
"Is it a guy?" Leon asked, a brow raised.
"C-Cor, let me explain..." Caira said, putting her hands up. I crossed my arms, giving her a look that told her to start explaining. Zuko stood by and rose a brow. "Y-Yes, I-I'm seeing a guy...H-His name is Gohan..."
"And how long have you been seeing this boy?" Zuko asked.
"A-About a month or two...M-Maybe a bit longer..." She said, taking note of my wide eyes.
"And you didn't think of it right to tell me?!" I questioned.
"I-I was! I swear!" She replied. I gave her eyes, both of our expressions softening. "We...We actually had our first date, the day after the burning building incident..."
