Auden and I got home after the day we spent together. He ran up to his bedroom and I walked in the kitchen to the refrigerator and grabbed a bottle of water.
"You back." You came in the kitchen and leaned back against the counter.
"Yeah." I opened the cap and gulped down the cold water.
"I am not signing the papers."
"Okay." I placed the plastic bottle on the island and walked out the kitchen as you were confused.
"Okay?" You followed behind me to the living room.
"Okay." I repeated and sat down on the comfy couch.
"Um, you're confusing." You stood in front of me, arms crossed.
"About what? You said that you are not going to sign the paper. Is there something I must say?"
"I don't know." You sat across from me.
"Just be glad I didn't say anything." I chided, got up and left, thinking about the only woman that had my heart and mind.
