As I am getting ready for my date with Edward, I received a text from Laura.
Laura: MAYMAY!!!
To Laura: Yes?? Everything okay?
Laura: IDK! EDWARD TOLD ME THAT YOU WILL TELL HIM SOMETHING TONIGHT!
To Laura: Of course I will, it's quite impossible to have a date where I don't talk to him.
Laura: Haha! Not funny! So, you will tell him already?
To Laura: Tell him what?
Laura: Whatever sissy, I guess I will find out soon enough. Get ready for your date already because Edward here looks so handsome, and that's big coming from me.
To Laura: But he is always handsome!
Laura: Eeewww! Stop this! He looks so nervous, quite funny actually.
To Laura: Haha! Okay, let me get ready already! If he looks handsome, I at least need to be on his level.
Laura: You already are sissy! Laters!
As I put my phone down, I sat in front of my mirror and started to apply light make-up on my face. I suddenly remembered what happened last night before Edward went home. I had told him that I will tell him something important. I didn't want to raise his hopes up but I want to see where our date will lead us. Before I slept last night, I prayed and asked God for a sign about the decision I am about to make.
When I was ready, Edward texted me saying that he is already on his way. So, I headed downstairs and waited for him there. My lolo and lola were also there waiting with me. They both look so excited and I actually find it quite funny.
"Maymay, where are you guys going?" my lola asked.
"I don't know actually 'la, Edward planned everything" I answered
"I'm so excited, but wait, is he your boyfriend already?" my lola asked again with a smile playing on her lips.
"No...uhm.. not yet" I answered shyly.
"Yet? So... soon?" she asked again.
"Can I tell you something Grandma?" I asked.
"Always" she answered with a smile.
"If everything goes as planned, I might actually come home with a boyfriend tonight" I said as I blushed.
"What plan?" Grandma asked.
"I asked God for a sign" I answered.
"Well, since you asked Him for it, I'm sure He will help you make the right decision May... Oh, your prince charming is already here." she told me.I turned around, but only to be stunned by a handsome looking Edward. I was actually quite speechless for a moment there.
