Chapter 4: Why were Slash and Rockwell Kidnapped?

Mikey was watching "Crognard the Barbarian" where this evil wizard used his mind control on Crognard's team.

"Hey, guys, ever notice how the cartoons we watch are kind of just like our missions?" Mikey pointed out.

"Seriously? You're reading way too much into a cartoon show, Mikey," Leo remarked.

"Speaking of missions, I know what our next one should be," Raph said as he was beating up a dummy with a familiar enemy's picture on it then added, "Shredder. Why don't we take him down once and for all?"

He knocked the dummy right off the hook.

"Because of that impulsive overemotional state right there," Leo smirked.

"Who are you calling impulsive and overemotional?!" Raph yelled.

"Honestly, I'd go more with hotheaded," Mikey commented.

Raph growled and started to chase Mikey around the lair as he screamed. Meanwhile Donnie was finishing up the Shell Raiser.

"Great, Raph's going off again. Too bad Jamie's on patrol right now. Maybe I'll just stay in the lab for a while," he said, finished their car, and said, "Phew, there. I think the Shell Raiser is finally fixed."

That's when he heard a bang and he ran out to see Raph shaking Mikey uncontrollably.

"Whoa! What was that? Did Raph finally blow a gasket? 'Cause I got spares," Donnie replied.

That's when Jamie came in while helping LeatherHead inside. She noticed Raph and the others, so she gently put him on the ground and ran to the guys.

"Guys, come help us!" she said, getting their attention.

They stopped to see LeatherHead on his knees, breathing heavily. They all went to his side to check on him.

"Jamie, you alright?" Raph wondered, looking her over for injuries.

"Yeah I'm fine. I found him like that," Jamie answered.

They kissed then hugged before they turned their attention to LeatherHead.

"Are you okay?" Leo asked him.

"Can't you see he's terrible? Look at his adorable yet tortured gator face. Aww," Mikey said.

"Michelangelo is right. I bring dire news. Slash and Rockwell have been captured by TigerClaw," LeatherHead informed, standing up.

"What? Why?" Leo wondered.

"He said they could be of use to 'him'," LeatherHead answered.

"I'll give you one guess who 'him' is," Raph said.

"Yeah, that guy who does the thing with the thing," Mikey said like he knew who it was, but admitted, "I have no idea who you're talking about."

"Shredder," Jamie clarified.

Then Pigeon Pete came in laughing, but flew into the wall.

"Oh, not Pigeon Pete," Raph groaned.

"Wow. Now, this is a secret lair," Pigeon Pete replied with glee.

"Anyone but Pigeon Pete," Raph continued to complain.

"A tire swing! Is that a real Space Heroes pinball machine? If you ask me, the only thing this place needs is some bread," Pigeon Pete continued to say.

"We got better than bread. Pizza crusts, brah," Mikey stated.

Pigeon Pete squealed and tackled Mikey. He pecked at the pizza crust and his mind was blown.

"Oh, where have you been all my life?!" he asked joyfully.

"Why couldn't TigerClaw take him instead?" Raph asked.

"Raph," Jamie warned.

"Hey, I'm not crazy about Slash, but the Mutanimals are our friends, and we're gonna rescue them," Leo remarked.

So they geared up and headed for Shredder's lair.
