Lauren: No, why would I be?
Camila: You seemed annoyed when we were talking about Thanksgiving this morning
Lauren: I just don't understand why you would invite our parents for Thanksgiving when we don't know how to make a Thanksgiving dinner and I haven't spoken to my Mom since the interrogation
Camila: That's exactly why I did it
Camila: Not the whole we don't know how to make dinner part. You haven't spoken to your Mom in weeks, baby. I think it's time and honestly, she doesn't think we are old enough or whatever.. She doesn't think we can handle being adults and being married
Camila: So let's prove her wrong
Camila: Let's hold Thanksgiving dinner and be domestic as all hell and show her that we've got this.. That we know what we're doing and we are responsible adults
Lauren: So you are holding dinner so we can prove to my Mom that we can handle being married?
Camila: Yes
Lauren: I don't know if that's going to work, Camz
Camila: It wouldn't hurt to try though
Camila: Maybe she won't come around to the idea right away, but maybe it's a push in the right direction to see us together, see how we work
Camila: She's never seen us like that.. Being domestic and all married and stuff
Lauren: I guess
Camila: It's not too late to cancel of that's what you want
Lauren: No maybe you're right. Or can't hurt to give it a try..
Camila: That's the spirit
Camila: Now we just gotta learn to cook a turkey
Lauren: It's not gonna be pretty
Lauren: It's probably gonna end up burnt
Camila: Whatever, we will just give your Mom the blackest pieces so her food matches her soul
