98th Poem: Finding Prince Charming

There he is,

noticed by all.

The boy all guys envy,

the boy girls drool over.

You see, this boy,

he's the stereotypical teen fic guy with abs and a nice smile,

raised well or maybe not,

but different in such a way that nobody knew.

Sure,

he's got some of the qualities of a "bad boy" in him,

but he's not a bad guy.

Nerd, dork, geek- whatever- he's got all of that too.

He jokes around,

he feels out of place,

yet,

he hides it all.

He does not let,

anyone see his true self.

He keeps it bottled up inside,

tries to act like a tough guy,

holds the weight of the world on his shoulders,

and he is fighting to hold it up.

Then one day,

he notices a girl.

A wonderful girl

that stays on his mind,

just as he stays on hers.

He does not believe,

that she could ever like him.

Two different personalities,

one high school says must not clash.

He's never seen her,

but maybe she was there all along,

right under his nose the entire time,

only just drawn to him by her brilliant flame.

He goes up to her to talk,

this girl who caught his eye,

the girl who he thinks might soon steal his heart.

He talks and says all the wrong things,

pushes her away.

Jealous girls,

vile creatures that they are,

make fun of dear Cindy,

make her hide herself.

Until finally,

after all of the painful searches,

Charming finds what he lost,

and she fills up the hole in his heart

with all of her love.

The swing of her hips as she danced,

the taste of her lips when they kissed,

the sound of her laugh when she was tickled,

he fell in love.

Their new bond could never be broken,

not even after death did them part,

because he always made her remember

that she was the one, he lost his mind to.

A/N

Yeah, I'm pretty sure once I reach 100 poems this book is donzo and another will not surface.

This poem is kind of written to show that some guy's are complete asses, some are pretty awesome. Women and girls don't give guys enough credit.

Eww it's like so romantic or something wth brain where did this shizzle come from?!

Also, I meant to write this poem forever ago (I mean Finding Cinderella Part I & II were posted in like April of 2016 lol) but I only just wrote it because I decided to stop being a bumnugget and just post my poems that've been sitting waiting for my to write in my unpublished drafts.

If you haven't read Finding Cinderella (at least the first one), you won't realize that the poem follows the same structure and uses some of the same words.
