Vampires Suck

I quietly growled to myself as I walked down the cold and lonely street at night. I was the best time to roam town with no one around. Where I can be free...where we all can be free. I was a Vampire. A creature as human may say it. They wouldn't be saying that if they took the tie to know us, but other than that, I was starving. Starving for some blood. 

There was no one around for a while and I was getting weaker and weaker by the minute. I need to find someone. Animal blood would do, but it doesn't really satisfy a vampire that much. I found myself going into a 24-hour Diner asking for coffee. 

"You don't look so good," someone said. "Feeling ok?" I look up and suddenly, I was more awake. There he stood. Caramel tone. Hair long and silky to the touch and the most dazzling smile I've seen in years. I couldn't help but stare. 

"....Sir?"  he waves his hand in my face snapping me out of my trance almost spilling my coffee. 

"Sorry.." I mumbled looking down at the warm drink. He then smiles again.

"That's ok, we all have awkward moments." he moves hair from his neck and my stomach sinks. 

Fuck..

I drink my coffee as I look around. "Slow night?"

"Well I was going to close but you walked in."

"Oh..sorry I can leave."

"No that's ok, stay." he smiles. 

It soon got quiet again until the owner spoke.

"Are you feeling ok? you really look pale." he studies my face but I lower it to my half done coffee.

"I'm fine...that's just how I look."

"I don't believe that."

"Look, I'm fine. Matter of fact, I think I'll take my leave." I stood up to leave my my legs gave out on me and I hit the floor.

"Oh my, are you ok?" the owner rushes to my side helping me up. I inhale his scent. He smelt like chocolate. 

"No you look sick," he said still holding me. "You need to go to the hospital."

"No I don't," I sighed. "I need...I need..."

"What? what do you need? I'll give it to you."

"Blood." I said breathlessly.

"......Blood?"

"Yes, I'm a Vampire, it's what we do. We suck."

"I know that! but....a vampire?" his voice was soft and a bit scared. I thought for sure he was going to kick me out the shop.

"Yes...scared?"

"No way, I wanna help you so here," he turns his neck and puts my face there.

"What? no I can't-"

"Yes you can. I know I don't know you and you're a vampire, but I don't care I just wanna help you."

I can't believe it, a human doing this willingly, for me?

I took a strong inhale of his scent again. I can feel him stiffen.  I licked his neck and softly bit his neck in small places. I chuckled when I heard a small moan from his mouth. I slowly sunk my teeth in, it can feel all the blood going into my mouth and my little friend as the coffee boy trembles in my arms. 

"Ah.." he moans. I can feel his hand gripping onto me, turning me on even more. After I had my share, I pulled away slowly licking the wound I made until It healed.

"Thank you.." I breathed. My legs were shaking. His blood was so good. So sweet.

"Don't mention it," he was shaking as well. "I never knew I would be willing to do that for someone."

"I know this is straightforward but...I'd love to take you out."

".....What if I wasn't gay?" he looks up at me. 

"I'm still willing to take a chance here. Human or not.....I can't help but be attracted to you...your scent....it's doing something to me."

"Scent?"

"To Vampires all humans have their own unique scent. You smell like chocolate." I licked my lips. "So you're not scared of me? You should be."

"You don't seem like other Vampires," he said and started to smile. "I like you."

"Like you too." I smiled back at him. "Y'know,  I never got your name."

"Ashley." he smiled. "You?"

"Andy..well Andrew, but I prefer Andy."

"You uh, maybe wanna get outta here?" he asked. It was getting late and I did wanted to leave so I agreed. 

And from that night on, Ashley and I have been dating ever since.
