Author's Note: I wrote this poem in a ten minutes study break. Enough said.
YOU'RE THE REASON WHY
I stay up late in the nights,
Staring at the blinking stars in the dark,
Dreaming, believing, smiling,
Somethings changed, and I'm not gonna lie,
You're the reason why
I keep thinking all the time,
My heart and my mind are on a constant debate,
They never agree. They never will,
I listen to my heart and then happily sigh,
You're the reason why
My cheeks turn the colour of rose,
Everytime someone calls out your name,
I have lost my mind. I know alright
Therefore, I bid sanity good bye
You're the reason why
I guess they call this love,
The word thats often always misunderstood,
The real essense is lost to dust,
If only they step in my shoes and try,
They'll know the reason why
