A week has passed by, and I have laid off on my mischievous act, especially since the special guest is arriving today.

My stomach was filled from all the trips I did to the kitchen, so right now I was just lazily laying on the couch in the living room.

Everyone was busy going up and down in preparation for the special guest.

Just lying on the couch and filling my already stuffed stomach with some popcorn as I watched television.

Some of the persons passing near me looked like they really wanted to comment on my behaviour, but held it in.

I know I am being sloppy and should be helping them, but my body refuse to move from my current position.

Elise and Anne were both gone for now, since I was boring Anne to death, although she is already dead and Elise decided to go to where she always go.

Wherever that may be.

"He's here."

Everyone was rushing to go greet the visitor and to line up in order of ranks.

Now something that caught my attention about this mystery man, is that he is searching for his mate.

I can't wait to meet the lucky lady.

Finally persuading my body parts to cooperate, I quickly snuck over to where everyone else was.

Hiding behind the wall, I listened carefully to everything.

Axel greeted him and welcomed him to the pack as he said a few words in return.

Then I heard some deep sniffing as some of the female wolves began giggling.

"She's here. I can smell and feel her presence." His voice was deep and held authority.

Wanting to see what happen, I shifted to the archway to peep in.

Immediately, I regretted my decision.

The first thing I saw was shining grey eyes as they stared back at me.

They held so much emotion, but it soon quickly vanished.

"Her." He pointed at me.

Everyone was shocked, but I was beyond that.

Never did I imagine having another mate and another Alpha at that.

Axel looked like he was at a loss for words. He would just open and shut his mouth.

Suddenly I heard wedding bells playing, but it seemed like I was the only one hearing it.

Turning around, I saw a smirking Anne dressed as a brides maid.

Did she really have to dress up though? Wasn't the song enough?

Getting back to the other matters at hand, I decided to make things even more complicated.

Walking up to Axel, I jumped in his arms as I kissed him.

Everyone was whispering now.

"She did not just do that."
"Right in front of her mate?"
"Such a slut."

Suddenly, I was pulled away from Axel by a pair of strong, muscular arms.

"Oh la la," I said, staring at the handsome man who was holding onto me tightly.

For some reason, I didn't feel any sparks from our contact and neither did he have a different scent.

Maybe we weren't mates after all.

Oh well.
