Cassie watched Jess snap her fingers and pointed in her direction as she continued to pet Winslow. A cruel smile formed on her face. 'It's finally time!' Cassie thought with sadistic glee.

Ignoring the panic from the audience around her, the Templars furiously trying to calm everyone down, and the hybrid ur-ghast above as she pulled down Maya's hood with her left hand; revealing her to the stunned mortals inside the battlefield below.

Cassie then saw Jess nod her head, signaling what to do next. With a smile, she placed her arm around Maya's trembling shoulders. "Time to go~!" she whispered into Maya's ear while Cassie summoned a red portal behind them, and then pulled a terrified Maya into it.

The portal closed soon after, no one noticing except the stunned people below in the battlefield. Cassie wouldn't leave yet, she still has one last thing to do...

"Maya!" Screamed Gill, his free hand outstretched towards his disappearing, not-so-dead lover before glaring at a smiling Jess. "Bring her back!" he shouted as he pointed the repeating crossbow at Jess.

"Or what?" said Jess, still smiling as she pressed her burnt chest against the weapon. "Go ahead, Gill, shoot me."

"I will-!"

"Then do it, you coward." Insulted Jess. "I can't believe you care about that dumb whore-"

"Stop calling her that!" Gill screamed, anger fueling him. "If you say that again, I'll blow your brain out!"

"Gill stop!" shouted Jesse as he stood by his wife, moving a little towards his sibling. "She's messing with your emotions-!"

"I don't care!" screamed Gill, looking at Jesse. "If anything, this is all your fault!"

That took Jesse back by surprise before rage consumed him. "How is it my fault?!" he shouted back, ignoring his wife's attempts to calm him down.

"She's your sister, you should take responsibility and-!"

"Who are you to talk about responsibility, Gill?!" Jesse shouted. "You, of all people, are the most-!"

CRASH!

In a single, fluid motion, Jess ripped the repeating crossbow out of Gill's hands, and smashed it to pieces against his head as he fell to the ground. "No one talks to my brother like that... and you really should have listened to him earlier, you idiot." Said Jess as she coldly stared down at a terrified Gill, his wounds streaming a steady flow of blood. "Not so tough without a weapon now are you?"

"Jess, how are you so calm?" asked her brother. "He pointed a weapon at you, and threatened to kill you!"

"He wasn't the first, or the last, brother." she replied cooly. "Besides, that crossbow fires arrows made out of Mana, and since your wife, a Templar, is so close the weapon wouldn't even work."

"But since you threatened me, a kingdom ruler, give me back all of my stuff that I gave you, Gill, before I send out my own bounty poster for your head." She said in a monotone voice as a trembling Gill quickly gave all of the items Jess gave him earlier, dropping the enchanted obsidian shield, the monocle, and the voodoo doll onto the ground before her as she picked them up. "I can't believe my brother secretly teamed up with you."

Jesse and Gill were shocked. "How did you know?" asked a scared Gill, afraid of what Jess might do to him.

"Just because I'm unnoticeable," started Jess. "That doesn't mean I'm inaudible."

"I don't understand." Said a confused Gill.

"Gill, when you saw me turn 'invisible'," said Jess, remembering how when she was inside Gill's home and made herself unnoticeable. "did you hear me leave? You should have been able to hear me leave through the door."
