Cross POV
"What do you mean I can't see her! She's my damn sister!" I snapped at the nurse.
"She's still in Surgery sir.. please calm down. The other girl you can see though.. she's just in her room.." I sighed. I guess I should check on Tori
"Fine show me where her room is" I sighed and followed her through the hospital.
When I had fired my gun at the two of them, the guy holding Tori had stabbed her in the stomach just under her rib cage, just missing her Diaphragm. She was close to death.
The nurse left once she showed me the room. I went in and over to the bed.
She didn't have her sheets over her and he was only in a shirt rolled up to her boobs reviling her wrapped centre. I sighed a little and sat down in the chair. Put my feet up on the little table beside the bed and stared at her.
Her brownish black hair was messy, some of it was over her face. One of her arms were hanging on the bed and the other was over top of her head resting on the pillow. One of her legs were bent, crossed at the ankles.
The light was coming in from the window and it was dancing across her face, making her hair shine slightly. I won't lie, she did look beautiful.
I brought my feet down and rolled closer to the bed, slowly I swiped her hair from her face and smiled a little.
She let out a soft hunt like sound the clenched her eyes tightly shut. I leaned back on my chair and watched her wake up.
Slowly her eyes opened and stared at the ceiling for a second before looking to the left.. then other to me. Her eyes widen slightly and she tries to sit up.
"Rest.. stay laying down" I crossed my arms lightly.
"What happened?" She asked horsely I got up and went into the bathroom, getting a paper cup filling it with water.
"I killed your date, that's what happened" I said quietly. "He stabbed you, nearly killing you. We got you here just in time to save your life" I held the water out for her and she took it thanking me. I helped her sit up and she sipped her drink. I sat back down.
"Is Kate okay?" She asked. She is hardly worried about herself. I nodded
"She's in Surgery right now." She nodded a little.
"I'm glad it's not that bad.. are you alright?" I smiled and nodded. She smiled and looked at her lap.
A knock on the door made me look over and it was Jazz. "Kate's out of surgery.. I haven't gone to see her yet, I thought you would want to first"
"Okay.. see you later, you should sleep" I got up and walked over to the door following Jazz out and to Kate's room. Her head tilted towards me and her eyes were already watering.
"How are you feeling?" I asked and stepped in.
"I'm sorry Cross... I didn't see it coming. They just.." she kept talking
"It's fine Kate... I'm just glad your okay. What did they do to you?" I asked softly and sat on the edge of the bed.
"I.. I was getting food after I let Tori go for her date.. or so I thought. I heard something but I just assumed it was nothing but then I was grabbed by two people, one of them held me in a choke hold till I passed out... that's all I remember..." I nodded. "I didn't think they were after us.."
"It's fine.. we already know who they are" I said and pulled my phone out we had taken in one of the guys and have him locked away somewhere. I had Conner talk to him and we know who he works for now.
I looked up at the door when I heard a loud scream, followed by a clicking sound. I got up and walked over to the door and pulled the handle. But it wouldn't budge.
The doors Automatically locks. I looked out the little window and I saw guys running down the hall most in black and some with guns.
"Get in the bathroom.." I said quietly. She couldn't move.. dammit.. "just be quiet" I pulled the sheet closed coving the bed and I kicked the door about 8 times until it broke open.
I blended in, I was fully in black and I looked like a roughed up.
Oh no... I left Tori's door wide open! Shit shit shit. I pulled the little pistol and made my way back to her room.
I groaned once I was slammed against a wall. A gun was put against my chin. I opened my eyes and look at the guy. He's face was covered with a dark blue bandana.
"Who are you?" He said gruffly
"Mason Alex" I said
"Why do you have a pistol, and walking around like this?" He asked
"My grandmother is here and I saw a bunch of other guys walking around with huge gun, I was just worried about her.." he nodded.
"Hurry the hell up and get to her room" he snapped and pulled the pistol from my hands. Once he turned I kicked him forward and he groaned I pulled out the pocket knife I had and pushed it into his side. Quickly I grabbed my pistol and shot him in the back of the head. He fell forward then I ran to Tori's room. I hope she's still in there.
I shot a few people that tried to come at me along my way, my heard sunk when I noticed her room door was still open.
I ran into the room and she wasn't here. I looked around under the bed. I'm the bathroom and I literally can't find her. Dammit!
The next thing I know is I see Jazz rushing in the room. "She's not here?" He asked
"No, go get Kate. We need to get out of here"
