A/N ; So its been quiet a while since I've been on wattpad. Thats mainly due to the inconvenience of not having a phone to write. But now I have one so I start again. So a quick update on me ; im currently 8 months pregnant with a healthy baby boy. Its been an exhausting pregnancy and I haven't been myself lately. Hopefully though I can still write well enough for my fans who are still reading. So heres a new chapter, finally !

Ashley:

As it turned out my plan had quiet a few flaws to it.

For one, I couldn't get a single reaction from Damian. No tiny growl, or a hint of a tick in his jaw that would give away his jealousy. It was as if he were made of stone.

  It was damn infuriating!

Not to mention the biggest flaw in my plan to get back at him.

Which was that in the end,  it wouldnt change the fact that he rejected me.

I wanted to hurt him.

To make him pay for the pain that he was putting me through !

But what was the point?

Throughout every single pack we visited, there were dozens of girls shamelessly throwing themselves at him.

This is what he wanted, I reminded myself.

"Im a player, Ashley, you know that." His voice rang in my head "You really think i'd give that up just for you ? To settle down ? No."

Of course he wouldn't end his bachelor ways, not a guy like Damian Blackwoods.

Everytime he smiled that flirtatious smile of his at a she wolf, a little piece of my heart broke.

How I craved he would look at me like that, but no instead he threw it all in my face.

That he would never be the Mate I wanted and deseserved.

And that just broke my heart even more.

****

It had been yet another wasted day at another packs territory.

I hoped this little expedition would help to get myself together,  since for the next 7 months Damian and I would be living under the same roof.

I thought I would have a week to collect myself,  so that everytime I saw Damian with another girl I wouldn't crumble into tears.

But fate sure had a sense of humor.

Here I was stuck in a vehicle with the very person I was trying to escape.

We were once again driving to another packs territory, the sun just setting. It was already Thursday afternoon, and I only had 2 more days of shaking hundreds of strangers hands before I headed  home.

I looked out the window at the the moon illuminated trees, as usual trying to ignore Damian.

  Trying, being the operative word.

To no use, I could sense every movement he made. Every breath he took. Everytime he fidgeted.

There was this electric current between us, I could sense it and I'm pretty sure he could too.

There was too much unsaid between us.

  Finally he cleared his throat.

I waited expectantly but he said nothing.

   "Look" He finally said.

I wanted so badly to ignore him, to pretend like he wasn't there.
