i usually post a foreword but i didn't feel like it

bc there's something satisfying about being able to change "Untitled Part 31" to "31: Hey, Bathmat!"

but i just wanted to thank you guys for reading this? cause this is the first fic i think i've actually had more than three people interacting with the story regularly? 

i had a lot of fun writing this, and i'm writing a drama filled sequel! pete and brendon don't randomly disappear for what feels like ten chapters in it, at least, but they're older and more things can happen so i find it more fun

i'll probably be posting it fairly soon, and, in fact, the prologue is going up here before i post the fic! it's the next chapter, and it's already up so enjoy that ;)

update: sequel is posted (called "the invisible boys")

but, to those of you who will not be continuing to the sequel and enjoy the story where it is right now, i salute you and bid you farewell. it's been nice to see you voting and commenting, or just reading this. i have other fics if you're interested, but if you're not, that's okay too.
