I wake up and I'm confused... im supposed to be dead everyone thinks I died. Surrounded by the other failing classmates. Then I finally come to a realization..... I'm alive. And then... I think.....Laina. She thinks I'm dead where am I can I get out I want to be with her I...... then something catches my eyes..... Ellie. WTH I thought she was dead. Wait what happens now.. I don't have feelings for her I don't think. I thought I could never see her again, I've moved on. Ellie looks up and looks at me with shock and opens the elevator.
"I see you guys have failed too, well as you can see you're not going to die.... I know you're surprised I was too. You make tablets for the test..." Ellie says "no one ever died" she added looking at me in the eye. "Come on I'll show you around" and everyone followed and I started to after everyone else. When everyone looks around she approaches me "Hey" she said happily but confused I could tell she still likes me "hi" i replied " Look I know this is confusing you and I'm sorry you failed but I'm glad to see you i miss you" she spits out "I failed on purpose to prove a point and im planning on escaping. I'm so sorry I missed you but the feeling isn't mutual I've moved on Ellie, I thought you died... I've let go" I say and let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. I see the loving but hurt look but also understanding. " I understand Blake I just wanted you to know.... who is she?" She asked "you remember Laina, Laina Michaels.... its her" " oh that really smart girl... she's pretty...." "go" she says "what" I asked "go to her, I can get you out safely and you can say you never died no one did and stop all this, and you can be with her" she clarifies. My eyes shot up " Really, thank you so much Ellie" "sure, follow me" she smiled and started walking gesturing me to follow her. I followed " go in there I will follow you to make sure you get there and then I will come back here, they don't know you're here but they know me" we start climbing in this thing I can't describe. after what it seems for years but it's not we stop "this tunnel lead us a few blocks from the school, go on" she says "thank you" and give her a gentle neutral hug. We pull always shortly and she nods and smiles "go I can make it back from here... tell everyone so we can stop this and go see your father and Laina" "bye" "bye Blake" then I climb out and turn around to not see the tunnel then start running to my house
