We were finally safe, we can finally be a happy family, we can finally live together as one.

There was just one thing I needed to know...

How is Mon-El still alive? He died right in front of my eyes. The General stabbed a lead knife through his heart, which would've made any Daxamite die. I'm just so confused.

So now everything is alright, I'm going to ask him. But later...

1 week later

//Mon-El\\

It's finally time to go home, or to Kara's apartment. But that's practically the same thing.

We can finally be a family. With everything that's been happening lately, I feels like we haven't been able to do that since the day Mia was born.

Since we have to bring the baby home, we decided to take an Uber. We really don't want anyone knowing about Mia, or getting her wrapped up in this business, so we decided not to fly or leap...

Once we arrived, we put Mia down for a nap. Then Kara and I went to the couch and lied down. We're both very deep in thought.

There's been something she's been wanting to tell me. I can see it in her eyes, she's been like this ever since I've been back. But I know she'll tell me on her own time.

We sat there for a few minutes looking out the window, when Kara spoke up.

"Mon-El?" She asks quietly. "Hmm?" "There's been something I've been meaning to ask you for a while..." she says still facing the window. She takes a deep breath, then faces me.

"What happened?" She says boldly. "What do you mean by, what happened?" I ask softly.

She stares at me for a moment, her eyes piercing my own. It was honestly kinda scary.

"You know exactly what I mean! How-How did you do it? I saw you die! I saw a knife pierce through your heart. And I-I don't know what to think anymore!" She says while starting to panick.

She looks down. "Kara, it'll be okay. I know just about as much as you do. I felt the knife, I saw the light, and I went into it. But then I wake up in your arms, while you're crying" I say in one breath.

"If you want, we can go to the fortress. Maybe we could get some information from there." I suggest to her.

"But who'll take care of Mia?" She asks softly. "I'm sure Maggie and Alex won't have any problem taking care of her." I say happily.

She nods, then looks out the window again. Then gets out her phone and calls Alex.

While she's calling her, Mia starts crying. And that's when all of hell broke loose.

The next day...

//Alex\\

"Maggie, what are you doing?" I chuckle, while turning off the t.v. "I'm cooking!" She replies back with a big grin on her face.

"What are you making? It smells like my apartment was just on fire." I saw while smirking. She looks at me and rolls her eyes playfully.

"I'm making toast.." she says softly. I burst out laughing.

"This is why, I don't let you make you make breakfast." I say while laughing.

Maggie continued to make her toast, when I heard the doorbell ring.

"Who's that?" "Oh, it's probably Kara. We're supposed to be watching Mia today."

I open the door to see a very drained Kara and Mon-El. Mon-El had a very long list in his hands, and Kara was holding a giggling Mia.

"What happened to you guys?!" I ask worriedly.

"Mia kept us up all night. She wouldn't stop crying or giggling." Kara says as she puts her hands up to her forehead.

I take Mia out of Kara's hand and the list out of Mon-El's. "Guys, maybe you should get a few hours of sleep." Kara and Mon-El nodded their heads, then turned around to go home.

A few hours later...

//Kara\\

I wake up in my bedroom next to Mon-El, who is passed out. It was a very long night, so I see why.

It was our first night having Mia alone, and it was a disaster. We couldn't get her to stop crying, unless Mon-El actually got hurt. Then she wouldn't stop giggling. Even though it's adorable, I got tired of hitting Mon-El, and she started crying again...

I slightly nudge Mon-El, and he opens his eyes a little bit.

"Go back to bed..." he says groggily. I chuckle slightly. "We can't go to fortress if you're lying in bed."

He smashes his head into a pillow and groans. "Look I wanna stay and sleep as much as you do, but we can't." I reply.

He sighs, then gets up. He walks into the bathroom to get changed, and I swiftly put on my Supergirl outfit.

After an eternity, he finally walks out. We get something to eat from the kitchen, and then we jumped off the balcony of my apartment.

"Now let's go to the fortress!"

So I have a few questions for you guys...

Oh and guys I'd like to thank you for 1k reads! I only had this story out for about 2 weeks, and I really didn't think it would get this far. So I am truly blessed.
