Armin was basically a dead body. He was frail, thin. It looked terrifying.

Eren ran and hugged the other loosely, seeing the gash on his stomach. "Armin I'm so happy..you're okay.." Tears rolled down his face. "Let's get you cleaned up."

The teen took his best friend's hand and led him to the nearby creek. He slowly stripped Armin. "Let's get that blood off of you. Clean up the wound.."

Eren slowly tugged at the glass in his wound and was able to get it out.

Armin stared dazed, only wincing.

"I'm here." Eren reached into his bag and pulled out a small cloth. He wet it and began cleaning Armin up.

The creek's water turned red as it ran along. So much blood had been spilled.

"I knew you'd be alive." Eren murmured.

Armin closed his eyes and sighed. "I can't believe Jesse left me for dead."

"I'm glad you're talking again." Eren whispered, beginning to rinse Armin's hair. "I'm sorry Jesse left. He didn't want to. I could see he was upset."

"Shut up! He didn't even help me." Armin hissed.

"You're the one that needs to calm down." Eren mumbled. "Enough. He misses you and probably regrets leaving you behind."

"Funny. He didn't come look for me. You did." Armin added, rolling his eyes. He stayed perfectly still, letting Eren finish up washing him.

"I left everyone and risked my own life to find you. A thank you would be nice." Eren snapped, pulling Armin out of the creek. He tossed his clothes at him.

"Thanks." Armin sighed and got dressed. "I don't know why you came. You have better things to be doing. Like taking care of your kids, your newborn?"

Eren rolled his eyes. "Levi got them."

"Does Levi even know you left?" Armin raised an eyebrow.

The brunette stayed silent before shaking his head. "He doesn't know." He muttered. "Maybe we could head back by sunrise."

"And go back by the infected? No thanks. I'm staying here until the sun rises." Armin murmured. He slowly stood. "Can you start a fire?"

Eren rolled his eyes and followed Armin. "Yeah." He gathered wood and set it up. He reached into his back and pulled out matches. He struck one and threw it into the fire.

In a matter of seconds the two were sitting by the fire.

"You know.. it's like you're the only one that actually cares about me." Armin murmured. "Everyone else just pushes me aside. Well you do too, but not as much as everyone else."

Eren rolled his eyes. "They had there reasons for leaving okay? I was worried and decided on coming out on my own. We've been friends since birth, I couldn't not know what happened to you."

"I know, and that shows you're better than Jesse." Armin smiled slightly, face moving closer to Eren's. Before Eren could reject, Armin pressed their lips together.

Eren quickly pulled away and wiped his mouth with the back of his hand. "No. Don't you dare." He narrowed his eyes. "We are friends. Brothers. I have a fiancé, you have a boyfriend. We aren't meant to be in that way."

Armin shook his head. "I just thought.."

"This is brother caring. This isn't what you think." Eren sighed loudly. "You took it the wrong way. I have Levi, I love him. After everything I've been through with him, he's worth fighting for and I won't let him go. So stop."

Armin stayed silent and stared at the fire. He threw a pebble into it.

Eren watched closely. "We should go. I want my kids, I want Levi." He stood up. "I'm going with or without you."

Armin stood up and starting putting out the fire. "I'm going. Don't have to be so rude."

Eren stayed silent and put on his bag. He had to mentally prepare himself for the running through the street, dodging the infected.

Baby Jaxon woke up crying for food in the early hours of the morning.

Eren usually took care of it, wanting to be close to his little man, but Levi's eyes opened quickly. He sat up and rubbed his eyes.

The man stood and reached into the crib to pick up his son. He rocked the baby slowly, shushing him. "It's okay Jax. I'm going to get you some food." He carried Jaxon down into the kitchen and made him a bottle. He began feeding Jaxon.

Suckling noises could be heard throughout the kitchen. Levi could only watch. He admired the tiny human in front of him and wished he could've had more alone time with the twins when they were infants.

Once Jaxon was fed and back asleep Levi went up and set him back in his crib. It wasn't until that moment that Levi realized Eren was gone.

He was so focused on Jaxon that he didn't even realize the spot in bed empty. "Dammit Eren."

Levi stood and left the room. He knocked on the door others slept in.

Mikasa opened the door grumpily. "What?"

"Eren's gone." Levi muttered.

She instantly snapped awake and turned. "Jesse get your ass up. My brother went after your boyfriend!!" A yell shook Jesse awake.

Jesse stood with a panicked expression. "Levi I'm so--" Before he could finish Levi's fist was already connected to his jaw.

Jesse was sent flying back against the wall.

"If Eren doesn't make it back it's on you. He went to find your boyfriend. That was your responsibility. His life is on you right now. I won't hesitate to kill you if my Eren is gone. I would have you pay." He hissed.

With those words Levi left and went back to the bedroom. He moved under the covers. "Please be okay Eren. Get home safe. Come home." With those words he tried to go back to sleep.

Jaxon was already asleep, everyone else was. Levi couldn't sleep. He stressed about Eren, he loved him so much and didn't lose him. He couldn't lose him.
