Sophie: Guys! It's another holiday.
Tam: *bored* What is it this time?
Keefe: Is it one where there's pranking? Or sweets? Cause I'm good with those.
Sophie: No.
Keefe: Aww...
Sophie: Well... Not specifically. Anyway, it's like Canada's birthday, and everyone in Canada celebrates it. It's kind of similar in the US except they're celebrating their independence from England. Long story short, there's fireworks and parties and family gatherings.
Linh: I do like parties.
Everyone: *looks confused*
Linh: Well, I do!
Biana: Wait, what's a 'firework'?
Keefe: The opposite of your fire being broken.
Biana: Ha ha very funny. Sophie, what is it really?
Sophie: What he said.
Biana: *sighs* Fitz, do you know what it is?
Fitz: I think it's like a colour explosion thing. In the sky.
Sophie: *looks at Fitz* Dangit you were supposed to continue the broken fire myth!
Fitz: *looks sheepish* Sorry...
Tam: Idea, how 'bout we not invite my parents.
Keefe: Mine too!
Everyone else: Agreed.
Sophie: How about the people that don't have bad parents go and get them.
Fitz: 'Kay.
Keefe: What about us?
Sophie: Uh... Just hang out. *pauses* Linh, if they start fighting and you need help, hail me.
Linh: *salutes* Aye Aye captain!
Biana and Fitz: *light leap away*
Dex: *also light leaps away*
Sophie: *also also light leaps away*

Sophie: Edaline!
Edaline: Yes, sweetie!
Sophie: Can you come do this human holiday celebration thing with me?
Edaline: Umm... More description please...
Sophie: Countries celebrating birthdays and independence with parties. Please?
Edaline: Sure, honey. Grady's rehabilitating some animals right now but I'll come.
*Sophie's imparter rings*
Sophie: *turns on imparter*
Linh: Sophie! Hi! You said to call if they're fighting, so I did! *loud crash from behind her* Please come help! *turns off imparter*
Sophie: Just stay here a minute. It's not safe there.
Edaline: What's wrong?
Sophie: Tam/Keefe argument. Broken objects. Just stay here a few minutes. I'll come back when it's safe.

Spongebob Narrator: Twenty minutes later.
Sophie: *with twigs in her hair and ripped clothing* Problem solved!
Edaline: What happened?
Sophie: Broken table, messed up hair, damaged teenagers... It's all over now.
Edaline: Are you sure you're okay?
Sophie: I'm okay. We can go- *looks down* In a minute...

*Linh is hiding in the corner, Tam is rolling on the floor clutching his groin, and Keefe has tweezers and is trying to pick splinters out of himself*
Sophie and Edaline: *appear*
Biana, Fitz, Alden, and Della: *also appear*
Della: Oh my goodness! What happened?
Sophie: There was an argument. I ended it.
Fitz: *jogs over to Linh* Are you alright?
Linh: I am now. *smiles*
Fitz: *pulls Linh up*
Della: *smiles knowingly at Edaline*
Sophie: You good there, Tam?
Tam: *gritting teeth* Fine.
Sophie: You need some ice?
Tam: That would be good.
Keefe: Hey, what about me?
Biana: Do you want some help with your splinters?
Keefe: Sure.

*timeskip*
*Tam has ice, Keefe is less splintery, and everyone else is sitting on couches*
Dex: *appears*
Biana: What took you so long?
Dex: The triplets. My parents could come, but they send their love. And mallowmelt. *puts plate of mallowmelt on the tab- wait there's no table- the couch*
Everyone: *takes mallowmelt*
Dex: I also had to make these. *pulls object from behind his back* FIREWORKS!
Sophie: You actually made some! That's awesome!
Dex: It wasn't that difficult actually. But they do need to be deployed outside.
Sophie: *turns to Alden* Can we do it at Everglen?
Alden: Sure, Sophie.

*At Everglen*
Dex: *arranging stuff*
Everyone else: *standing around*
Dex: The fireworks are almost ready. In three, two, one!
BOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMM!!!!!!
*technical difficulties*
Sophie: Dex, fireworks aren't actual explosions!
Dex: Oops...
A/N: My first part in over two months! Guys, I am so sorry to have made you wait that long. I am a bad author. I had homework, and was lazy, and uninspired. And I am sorry. But I have now finally updated. I will try to update more frequently now that it's summer vacation, but that is not a promise. And my cringy story will be updated once I find the papers I wrote the story on. That's all folks!
