Finding A Way

I woke up.
I woke up in an unknown place and bed. 
The screaming stopped and know there is complete silence.
A women sat next to me.
Unknown as well.
I don't like it here in this room.
Too white and hospitaly.
"Finally you are awake!" She exclaims. 
I stay in complete and utter silence, I don't feel good.
I want my dad, I want to see his smile. I want to see him happy.
I knew I am and will always be the problem in our problem ridden family.
I lay back down, and cover myself in the white blankets.
I want to go back to sleep and never wake up.
I want to always be in my happy place and never leave.
"Honey," she says.
I crawl into the covers deeper and deeper.
I don't want to come out.
But soon in time I will be forced out.

Sleep, I was soon asleep again.
My dreams full of happy memories from four years ago.
Laughter.
Smiles.
Happiness.
They all filled those memories, but soon were all gone.
Something changed, I don't know what it was.
Mom and Dad fought and forgot about me.
Smiles seem almost forbidden in our home.
Those happy memories soon replaced with sad ones
Mom always told me that I was at fault, that I was the mistake in her happy life.
I don't get it, we were so happy before.

I was awakened again.
Tears apparent on my pale face.
I don't know what happened, but what ever it was, was not good for me.

"Honey, you have to wake up. You've been asleep for three days now. Please wake up!" Her voice was sweet as candy.
But uninviting for me.
I shoved my head further into my mass of blankets.
I wanted to stay here, I don't want anywhere else.

Sometimes you get stuck, then you get out. Then again and again. Sometimes you have to break that cycle for the greater good. Most people don't. They don't live their life to its full capacity. Though some people are forced. They were going to add the numbers to the people that don't break that cycle. However, that wasn't what was planed for them. So they grow from it and change for the greater good.
