He was where he belonged, in the shadows, hiding from the world and stalking the two girls.

Ever since they came here, he noticed that the days for them had been pretty much the same: they go to school, walk back home, stay in the house till the next day.

There were days when they weren't alone, but accompanied with that guy. The guy she was with when she almost caught him.

He didn't like him.

That day when he saw the guy who was walking with them, he was shocked. He wanted to know who did the older sister open up to so fast and get over her paranoia with. So, he took two steps to the front, oblivious that by what he was doing, he was coming out off his hiding place.

He had been watching them for so long, had always been there seeing what they were up to. Learning about their whereabouts or just standing there looking at them. Why? because that was his job, that was what he was supposed to be doing.

Hiding and stalking.

Sums up his life.

He looked at the house beyond him. The blinds of the windows were shut, but from years of doing this, he knew so well what was taking place behind them. A kid running in the house, carefree, just like her sister is, or was, and an older sister sitting and watching the little girl or thinking over shit that happened to her.

He felt his phone vibrate in his pocket.

It's time.

He looked at the message once more before sighing and pulling his black hood more over his face and walking  away.

Weekends.

Days that were supposedly when parties take place, or outings.

Days that were longed for from the beginning of the week.

Days that were fun.

I used to be one of those people who went out and had fun. Went to parties that I wasn't supposed to be in. Even went to a club once, but that ended drastically far from what was expected.

Those days were we all got together whether in parties or just in front of a tv screen, teasing each other and watching every movie or tv show we laid our eyes on.

Now my weekends were just another days in the week.

What was the difference now? Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. They were all days of a week with different names, other than that, they were the same.

I was alive just for two reasons. If it wasn't for them, I would have been better dead.

Parties.

I used to love those, even though it would usually end up horribly, but they were fun.

Most beautiful memories were actually made in parties, whether it was us laughing over those who were drunk or mimicking the people who were drunk dancing or even have wild stupid adventures in a packed up house. We were weird.
