"Fuck!"

"Hold still", Rex murmurs as he inserts the needle into my skin.

We're currently in a abandoned home in the mountains as Rex stitches my wound up.

"How are we suppose to get to Aleysa, if we don't even know where she could possibly be at?", I frustratingly say while wincing in pain from the needle.

"Maybe we should go to Angela's house to see if anything was left behind", Jacky chirps.

"We can't go there! I'm sure the news about Jason escaping is all over New York right now and I'm sure that's the first place cops would go to look for him", Isaac says running his fingers through his black hair.

"They'll be looking for Jason not us though", Rex utters.

"I'm sure we'll both be the first suspects of his break out idiot", Isaac rolls his eyes.

"Do you have a better damn idea Isaac?!", Rex spat.

"I can go", Jacky splutters.

"You can't! Don't forget cops know you left with me Jacky... plus you haven't even spoken to your father yet to calm things down", Isaac huffs.

"I'll go! No one knows I even exist", Tiny utters standing up from the wooden chair.

"Babe", Rex sighs.

"There's nothing to worry about Rex.. Angela wouldn't let anyone get near me right Jason?", she raises a brow at me.

During the time, I've known Angela as my social worker, she's been very real with me never bullshitting in anything like pigs do. I'm sure right now Angela must be furious at me for pulling this shit, but it's all to look for her daughter and grandchild. She'll forgive me.
Angela is someone I do trust.

"Your right, we can trust Angela... Jacky you must tell Angela if officials show up at her place and Tiny is there to tell them she's a family friend or something, so they won't suspect anything", I firmly say to Jacky.

"I'll give her a call", Jacky agrees.

"Your all set", Rex says putting away his kit he stole at some small store near a gas station.

I stand up slowly grabbing my new black t-shirt Rex stole for me. "Tiny you must leave now the longer we wait the more time we give my father to do bullshit", I frustratedly order.

"No problem.. I'll call to update you guys"

I nod gratefully at her for the huge favor she's willing to do for the sake of my girl. Rex walks her out while Isaac, Jacky, and I stay put.

"Watch when I get my hands on that motherfucker!", Jacky grits her teeth clenching her small fists.

"I'm going to end his pathetic life that's a promise", I mutter cracking my knuckles.

I wish I was already pounding on his dead beat ass. The thought of it gets my adrenaline going almost picturing myself in the action as of this moment. Words can't describe how much hatred I have towards him. After learning the truth about him through my mother and now this I'm glad he left. No way in hell would I wanted a fucking monster to raise me.

"We've got your back", Isaac firmly says patting my back.

"I know", I respond.

From being alone in the world before to now having my own little family and friends I can always rely on to have my back no matter what is such a blessing. I never thought I was worthy of such a thing. I always thought of myself as bad luck, but since Aleysa walked into my life, she made me see I'm good and worthy of good things in life. Now I truly see what she meant.
