Who am I?
Hi! I'm Lauren!
I'm a writer (and Wattpadder!) based in London. I write books full of magical organizations, modern myths, silly jokes, and lots of kissing! I'm best known on Wattpad for my supernatural teen romance series, Cupid's Match (in which mythological mayhem ensues when Cupid joins Lila's high school in search of his match)! It accumulated over 60 million 'reads' here on Wattpad, and was published by Wattpad Books and Penguin Random House October 2019! It's also been translated into French, German, and Spanish (under the titles MAUDIT CUPIDON, EVERLASTING LOVE, and EL MATCH DE CUPIDO)! My new book, Devils Inc., full of snarky Angels, bad boy Omens, dangerous Demons, and deals with the Devil, is out now! I've written quite a few more books and short stories here on Wattpad (A Circus of Ink, Thorn, The Elevator, among others) and I'm part of the Wattpad Stars Program. I also used to work for Penguin Random House, so I have some insight into the wider publishing industry!
I also - like everyone else - started with 0 reads!
For the first couple of years I was on Wattpad I hardly got any reads for my stories. If you're struggling to get recognition for your stories - I feel your pain! I've been through it too!
