Andy and I was walking around in Tokyo on Vacation on a rainy night. We just recently graduated College while also getting are loans paid off. I figured we deserved a vacation for all the handwork. The past four years have been hell. The schoolwork, the professors, and the people. I had to deal with a lot. When graduation finally rolled around, I was beyond happy. No more schoolwork, no more getting up early. I smirked as I admired Tokyo's beauty. It was beautiful, especially at night. The rain was starting to get heavier and that was a sign to go to our hotel. Andy didn't have an umbrella, all he had was a small leather jacket and his hoodie on.
"Andy, you're welcomed to get under the umbrella with me." I could feel myself blushing. I've always had a crush on Andy for as long as I can remember but was always too shy to say anything about it. I knew he was gay but that wouldn't mean he was into me. He saw me as a friend. Then during our third year in school, he finally asked me out and we've been dating ever since.
"That's ok babe," he waved his hand. "I'll be ok."
"Are you sure? you're going to get socked. I know you're cold as well." Andy sighed and finally agreed to stand under the umbrella with me. Our shoulders touched which made me feel warm inside. I can feel his slender arm wrap around me pulling me closer if it was possible. We've enjoyed the lights, the food, and the people during our stay. It was one of those moments for me where I was lucky enough to be with this man next to me. He makes me so happy and I'm glad we were able to take this trip together. It was Andy's surprise for me after we were done with school. I was so excited, I cried.
"Tokyo's beautiful," he mumbles. "During the day too, but at night, it seems more lively." I nodded in agreement.
"Yeah," I lay my head on his shoulder as we walked the streets in the rain. Everything seemed so calming and soothing. I felt a peck on my head and looked up.
"But it's not as beautiful as you...I love you." I smiled up at him giving him a sweet kiss in return.
