A family throws their new pet cat out onto the street thinking that it's deaf and therefore useless. A neighboring house takes the cat and takes care of her.
After a couple of weeks, the cat starts playing with plastic bags and she would react to the sound of them! She would even come when called!
It turned out that she wasn't really deaf, she just didn't react to loud noises. She couldn't be bothered by anyone. A true cat.
