"What did you buy today?" Newt looked up from his book and his lips curled up into a smile. It was a miracle that he remembered that you had been shopping and you placed the vase you had gotten on the table in front of him.
"I found this beauty on the market."
"O, well..." Newt cleared his throat while he scratched the back of his neck.
"Don't you like it?"
"It's..." Newt stuttered. "It's special?" He had never been good at lying and you shook your head.
"I see. Antique is not your thing." You shrugged your shoulders. "It's not a rare animal, huh?"
