Ch.5

Jacks POV -

I got pulled in by my dad, and he instantly pushed me and I fell down to the ground, making me bite my lip hard and I whip my mouth to see blood coming out

"Where the hell were you?! You know you go to school, and come straight home Jack!"

He screamed at me picking me up and I looked at him serious

"David! What are you doing let him go!"

My mom said and I pushed him a little and I whipped my mouth again and I just went up to my room.

I go inside my restroom and I look in the mirror and I see my lip busted and it's hurting so much.

"There goes another cut..."

I say to myself getting a small rag I had and I pressed it on my lip so that the bleeding could stop.
-
5 hours later..

"Jack open your god damn door!"

I heard my dad yell banging on the door and I was on my bed stressed out and I felt like I couldn't breath.

"Jack! I'm not going to repeat myself!"

He said and I just got up, got my phone, my car keys. I opened the door and he was there.

"Get your ass downstairs now."

He said and I shook my head

"No, I'm done with this. This is to much dad, I'm tired of getting abused by you"

I said pushing him away and I ran downstairs and out the door

"Jack get over here right now!"

He said and I ignored him, and I ran to Olivia's house.

I was knocking on her door so much and I was getting worried

"Come on Olivia, please open"

I say to myself, I couldn't control my breathing and I was hearing my dad yelling and it felt like he was getting closer and closer, until I see him coming towards her house and the door opened and I saw Olivia there and I walk in and shut the door close and I hugged her,

"What happened? Are you ok-"

She said and I heard knocking and look through the peck hole thing and I saw my dad there and I look back at Olivia and she was about to say something and I cover her mouth

"Shh"

I say low and she nodded and I was getting worried, I felt my eyes water and I was repeating please leave in my head and I said it a couple times.

I look through the hole and he wasn't there any more. I let go of Olivia and I just sat down in the floor with my hands on my face

"Jack what's wrong? What happened?"

She said coming down and sat down and I whipped the tears away,

"My dad."

I said and I look at her and she already new why

"He did that"

She said placing her hand on my jaw and her thumb near my lip so that I knew she was talking about the cut I have and I nodded.

"What did he do? Did he slap you or did he-"

"He pushed me towards the wall."

I say and she looked down and back at me

"Your ok though right"

She said and I nodded, I hugged her and she hugged me back, and I felt better. My breathing is ok and I felt more relaxed

"Why does everything change when ever were together..I mean that's how I feel"

She said pulling away and looking at me in the eyes, and I shrugged my shoulders

"I don't know, but I know what you mean. I feel like everything gets better"

I say and she nodded, I look down and I hold her hand and I play around with her fingers

"Olivia.."

I say and she hummed in response, I look up at her and she looked at me and back to our hands that are together

"I Need You, in my life"

I say and she looked back to me shocked

"I thought you wanted Julia"

She said looking back down and I lifted her head up

"No, I don't need her, I have you. You make me feel better Olivia. All my problems have been going away when I'm with you"

I said and I saw a small smile appear on her face and then it disappeared

"But you don't want me, I'm no good"

She said and she let go of my hand,

"Why wouldn't I want you?"

I ask to see what she would say

"I mean, look at me. This is bad, no one would want a girl that is covered with this and self harmed them self"

She said and my heart dropped when she said all of that

"Look at me, I'm worse than you, I almost killed my self, and who cares if you have those bruises there and you self harmed, I have and did worse things."

I said and she looked at me

"But I'm no good for you, you should just go find someone else..."

She said and I saw her eyes water

"But I don't, I already did"

I said and I lifted her chin up and I kissed her on the lips, and she ended up kissing me back, my lip started to hurt but I didn't care.

I felt like I did something right, this is something that has been wanting to happen but I never knew what until now.

"You are the girl, and let's just put that fake ass bitch aside"

I said and I heard her chuckle and I smiled

"Alright then"

She said and kissed my lips and hugged me, more like she cuddled on me and the pain was starting to come from my stomach but I didn't say anything, it wasn't to bad.

"Let's get off the ground yeah?"

I said and she laughed and nodded

"Sure"

She said giving me a hand and I took it and I got up and we sat on her couch instead of the floor.
