Karina's POV:
I am currently on my way to the game. I tried to never miss a game, I would go even if I was a little late.
As soon as I got there I made my way over to my seat, I had to go alone because my friends were busy, they were the ones who usually went with me. So I was sitting by myself but I didn't mind as long as I got to see my boyfriend play.
The game started and they were playing against the Pirates. The Giants were up to bat and Christian was up next. I was cheering on for him but I don't think it worked. He got out right away, then it was the opponents turn to bat. The batter hit it towards Christian and he missed it.
Then again the same thing, he was up to bat and of course I was there cheering but he still hadn't hit. And on third base same thing happened, he would miss the ball.
I guess it just wasn't his day today. So after the game I walked over to him and gave him a hug. He didn't say anything and I knew he wasn't feeling it today. So we walked to my car and I drove us home, it was quiet but not awkward.
Once we got home we went into our bedroom and we sat on our bed. I told him "Hey baby, it's ok it was just a bad day for you. It will get better." He looked at me and smiled. "You always know what to say." He pulled me into a hug.
I asked what he wanted to do and he wanted to watch movies and cuddle. So we did that and I saw him and he looked more relaxed than earlier. I hated seeing him like that because he puts himself down when he doesn't play good.
I saw that he was falling asleep and I whispered in his ear "Good night baby, I love you. And I'll be there for you through thick and thin."
Christian's POV:
It was game time and I wasn't having a good day. But I tried my best to play good but it wasn't happening. I hated when this happened to me.
I heard my Karina cheering on for me and at least that made me feel a little better. She was always there for me when I needed her.
The game was over and when we got home she told me that everything will get better. She always knew what to say and she asked me what I wanted to do, so I said watch movies and cuddle. That always got me in a better mood.
My eyelids were getting too heavy and I was slowly drifting into sleep. I heard Karina say "Good night baby, I love you. And I'll be there for you through thick and thin." That had made my day 100x better.
Just by having her by my side made me feel better because her smile made my problems go away.
