Y/n's pov.
My heart was beating really fast, my leg was going up and down, I was sweating a bit, I just didn't want Lauren to fucking kill herself.

I hate her, yes.

But that doesn't mean I'm going to let her commit suicide.

Big Rob parked the car and we saw a ton of people looking up.

I looked up and saw Lauren so close to the edge.

She still had the bottle of beer in her hand.

I let out a shaky breath and I felt my hand getting pulled.

Ally pulled me to the back of the building and everybody followed.

Before the cops looked at us, Ally unlocked the door and we all entered.

"The elevators are broken." Ally said sighing.
"We have to use the stairs." She added.

I started running up the stairs.

I didn't care if I had a child in me.

As I passed the first flight of stairs, I was already panting.

I passed the second flight of stairs, Shawn, Hailee, Karen and Ally trailing behind me.

-

When we all passed the 12th flight of stairs, we saw a metal door.

Shawn opened it and it revealed most of Lauren's employees and Lauren herself.

A tear fell down my cheek.

She was sobbing on the ground, the bottle of beer next to her.

"Ally. Good thing you're here." A guy said and approached Ally.

They started to talk, but I ignored them.

I slowly walked towards Lauren.

It felt like everything was going in slo mo.

She was still sobbing as I inched closer.

"Lauren." I whispered when I was atleast a feet away from her.

She finally looked up, her dull green eyes looking at me.

Her eyes went wide and she stood up quickly.

"Wait. Don't jump." I said panicking.

She turned around, her back in my view.

"Please Lauren." I pleaded.

This time, I let the tears fall from my eyes.

"Don't do this, Lauren." I whispered and walked closer.

"Why the fuck are you even here. You should be in the hospital." She muttered.

Really.

"You're really asking why I'm here?" I started.

She didn't look at me, she just continued to look in front of her.

"You really want to know why, Jauregui? It's because I fucking care about you!" I yelled.

She flinched at my tone and I heard a few gasps, but I could care less.

"I saw you on t.v. and I just couldn't let you go! I couldn't let you end it here." I said tears running down my face like a waterfall.

"Because I care about you. I fucking love you, Jauregui. And it might seem impossible right now, considering you left me in that hospital room, but I still love you, Lauren." I said my voice cracking.

She finally turned to me.

Tears running down her face.

"So for the love of fucking God, Lauren. Don't end it here." I whispered pleading.

"Because I need you. I need you here. Even if you're not with me. I just need you to stay in this hell hole we call earth." I said.

I held my right hand in front of me.

"I love you, Lauren. And as much as I don't want to, I can't stop my feelings." I said and walked closer to her.

"I care about you." I walked even closer.

"I need you." I said.

"So, hold my fucking hand and let's get out of here." I whispered.

Her cold hand reached out and I intertwined our hands together.

I smiled slightly and pulled her into my chest, where she sobbed and apologised for everything.

"After everything we've been through, there's no stopping me from loving you." I whispered in her ear.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry." She repeated.

I shushed her, but she wouldn't stop.

So I pulled away from her and smashed my lips on hers.

I rested her arms around my neck and I set mine on her waist.

She started kissing me back.

"Rob, I think we're not needed here."

We heard a deep voice say.

I looked up and saw a helicopter.

I smiled at them as the door to the rooftop opened.

People with cameras and microphones started running in.

"Fuck." Both Lauren and I mumbled.
