21. Sakura's Knowledge of Sasuke

1. Sakura notices something is off about him when he fights Naruto as a kid.

2. When it was the team 7 introductions she learns about his: vengeance.

3. When it was the bell test Sasuke tells Sakura vaguely about him becoming strong.

4. Sakura witness Sasuke wanting to test his abilities, due to the fight with Lee.

5. She becomes concerned with his bloodlust once he gets the curse mark and with how it relates to his dangerous goal; she tries to stop him from continuing in the exams but he stops her by telling her again he needs to get stronger–she is reminded of his dangerous goal.

6. She takes care of him in the hospital after his fight with itachi, gets apples knocked out of her hands so Sasuke can again test his abilities against Naruto

She tries to stop their fight, senses that Sasuke is taking his goal very seriously due to hostility whereas Naruto doubts Sasuke's resolve (partly because he doesnt really know about the curse mark, partly because he doesn't get sasuke). She is smart enough to guess that he will try to leave the village, interrupts his departure. She expresses her desire to understand him for his own sake. She slams down truth to him about loneliness so hard he thanks her for caring about him. She tells him she knows about his family and that revenge won't make him happy. He explains his POV to her. Once it's obvious he won't change his mind easily, she offers to help with his revenge so that he won't be alone.

People judge Sakura for her desperation in this situation, calling her selfish etc which is simply ridiculous. Why shouldn't she be desperate and in hysterics about her beloved teammate permanently leaving the village to literally join the ninja that just terrorized the village and murdered the third hokage? Why shouldn't she be begging and pleading with him? Her show of hysterics is completely appropriate. In fact, it would have been inappropriate for her to act any other way. Also, she's literally fucking 12 years old. But I digress.

8. At the beginning of shippuden, she explains that she's done extensive research on orochimaru and akatsuki by looking through tsunade's notes.

9. Upon seeing Sasuke again, she learns that sasuke has aimed to sever all bonds in order to achieve his goal.

11. After sasuke kills danzo and tries to kill her, she listens to his outrage regarding itachi and konoha's betrayal. She now knows that there is some "truth about itachi" she is not privy to. She knows that itachi is no longer Sasuke's enemy, but his beloved brother again.

13. When sasuke enters her side of the war, she learns about his change of goals and shows concern, knowing he was previously an enemy of konoha because of itachi.

14. When sasuke proposes his idea for revolution, she knows it's because of what happened between konoha and itachi in the past. She doesn't know exactly what happened, but she knows the factors involved. She knows that he is trying to get rid of the world that hurt him and his family. She hears Naruto tell sasuke he won't let him harm the bijuu and kages. She has a good idea of why he's doing what he's doing, that he's in pain, and she knows that what he's doing is terrible, no matter his motivation.

That's why she pleads with him again. She tries to make him hesitate like he did when he first left konoha. She remembers his word of thanks and appeals to the part of sasuke that was grateful. It makes complete sense. People argue she hasn't changed since she was 12, and in a way, they're right. She still loves Sasuke, and there is nothing wrong with that. They're at the end of a huge war, sasuke proposes apocalyptic intentions, so again, why shouldn't she be exhausted and in hysterics when she pleads with him...?

F.Y.I Sakura understands Sasuke tremendously, and it's time people start acknowledging it.
