Introduction

Dropping the main cast. I can't reveal the sexes of the Ingram kids yet, lol. I'm not a spoiler. A mini bio under each, hope this goes like I got it in my head.

Main Characters:

Nia Renée Cartier, daughter of Naomi and Ashton, is now sixteen years old, entering her junior year in high school. A track star and creator. With an outgoing and bubbly personality, Nia continues to be the light in the darkness. However, she'll soon learn the world through a new set of lenses and her biggest challenge will be not allowing society to dim her light. She's a badass, with a good heart. Soft and strong. Unapologetic and honest.

Adrian Dior Ingram, the son of Ascaria and Adonis, is now seventeen and is also entering his junior year in high school. Inheriting his charming personality and good looks from his father, Adrian is the life of any party and every high school girl's crush. Family oriented. However, he struggles with fame and fortune and it gets him into trouble. The softest guy in the room, but the loudest.

Shiloh Shaheed, Compton born and raised, is a seventeen year old junior. He wasn't raised with a silver spoon in his mouth. Most would judge him from the outside, but he's more than what meets the eye. An intellect, Shiloh's fight is internal and his rage stems from being a conscious black man in America. But, he meets Nia Renèe, his heart in human form. He wears love and darkness well. Shiloh has always been half God, half hell.

Roman Persad, Jr., son of Roman and Scarlett Persad, is seventeen years old and entering his junior year in high school. A sweet, soft spoken young man. It's a big year because his recruitment is beginning to heat up. One of the best receivers in the nation, Roman Jr. lives in his Mom and Dad's shadow and struggles to find his own legacy. It doesn't help that he attends the same high school they did. Strong, but there are cracks. And when he break, he'll crumble. He's his mother's child.

Khalil Persad, son of Roman and Scarlett Persad, is fifteen years old and is entering his freshman year in high school. Inherits the introvert personality from his Grandfather, Khari Valentine. The basketball gene did him well because he enters high school as the best player of any high school class. Schools across the nation are vying for his signature. Scarlett knows it all too well, and does everything she can to protect him. But, Khalil seeks better competition and risks everything. Even his life.

Malachi Irving, Jr., grandson of Kyrie and Danielle Irving, is seventeen years old and is entering his senior year in high school. A dedicated basketball player, he's the best player in the nation. A summer fling comes with unexpected news and he's faced with tough decisions. However, he's selfish and only thinks of himself. A self destruct. Talented, but stands in his own way.

Mara King, daughter of Makayla King, is a sixteen year old junior. Like her mother, her passion is dancing and she finds solace whenever she's on the dance floor. She inherits her strong personality from Makayla which causes them to butt heads so often. When Mara tells Makayla that she wants to do hip hop dancing, Makayla finds herself being like her mother and is unable to recognize it. Until Mara makes her.
